Mary Sue’s: Home to Arlington’s best hot chicken, handcrafted teas, cinnamon rolls, and so much more. ✨

Today we happened to luck up on an experience of a lifetime. We stumbled upon this unexpected diamond in the rough as we were getting our tires rotated at Discount Tire in order to continue our excursion to Colorado. We entered and were immediately greeted by Kevin who was very customer service oriented and extremely hospitable. We felt like we were the strangers “invited to a family cookout” and became part of the Family. He allowed us to try their Macaroni and cheese, chicken tender bites, and personalized pickles. They were so very delicious that they tickled the taste buds. The Mac and cheese was creamy and seasoned, the pickles were drizzled in a delectable jalapeno honey base with spices, the chicken tenders were juicy and flavorful. I would have ordered everything that we tasted but we literally just had lunch at another restaurant prior to entering . However, we did have space for some dessert so we ordered Dough babies and cinnamon rolls. OMG!!! the DOUGH BABIES were melt in your mouth better than Krispy Kreme originals with the “HOT” light on!!! The cinnamon rolls were better than Cinnabon bakery company. This place is OUTSTANDING and that wasn’t even the best part of the experience. The owner (Mr. Eddie Deen) happened to be visiting so I took the opportunity to ask him “What is the concept behind Mary Sue’s?” I was expecting him to say something like this was my mothers dream or my wife’s dream to put that soulful feeling back into all of the dishes that we hold near and dear to our hearts. Oh boy…Was I wrong. We (Kevin, Eddie, my wife and I) ended up having a 30 minute dialogue about their concept of “WHO ARE YOU BECOMING”!! It turns out that the concept of Mary Sue’s is one of helping everyone define their customer which in turn helps their vision ultimately identifying their purpose. I was BLOWN AWAY. Kevin also talked about the essence of the soul and the spiritual connection through repetition and cognitive remembrance. This was fascinating to me and very refreshing. The mission and vision of this establishment is so inspiring. Do yourself a favor and visit this place. Indulge in some fantastic food and you can also learn that…. When a person, no matter their age, learns that they can serve others through their vision and work, they don’t just pass tests. “They find themselves.” Thank you Eddie and Kevin for continuing to educate, inspire and “FIND THE CUSTOMER”

Ahhhh! Tenders A+ Fries A+ Rolls A+ The seasoned pickle spearA+ The sauces A+ Dough babies A+ Cinnamon roll A+ Peach lemonade with real fruit chunks...A+ I loved everything. I got the perfectly seasoned sauced nashville tenders. It came with ranch and mary sues sauce. The mary sues sauce is very different from anything I've had at a restaurant before. I make my own maple dijon salad dressing and this tastes very similar to that but it's a dip consistency. Very tasty. The fries are similar to wing stop without the sugar. The girl that took my order said the dough babies were like honey buns . Im not a honey bun fan but decided to try en anyway. Well i feel like they're simply plain glazed donuts. Lol Similar to krispy kreme but better because Krispy kremes are too darn sweet to me. Their rolls ...full of buttery goodness And finally ...the cinnamon roll...oh em gee. (Smacks lips) One reviewer of this place said something like when she likes food she says 'I don't know what's going on in their kitchen but i love it" Well I like to say food so good you better come get some before authorities make it illegal to eat here! Lol! You know the look you get when something is confusing or ridiculous yea that's the look on my face as i took bites of everything. Oh em gee. Lol. This food is ridiculously good. Dangerously good! I can't be coming up here daily to eat this goodness. I'd be 400lbs ...STOP THE MADNESS MARY SUE! Now of course everyone's taste buds are different but I definitely say this place is a hit! If you like Rickys or Daves hot chicken def come try this place!!!

🔥 A Hidden Gem That’s Serving Up Straight Fire 🔥 Okay, let’s talk about flavor bombs—because this place delivers. First off, those dough babies? Mouth-watering perfection. Lightly crispy on the outside, pillowy inside, and dangerously addictive. You’ve been warned. Now the chicken—juicy, tender, and seasoned with a kick that doesn't overpower but lets you know it’s there. It hits that perfect balance of heat and flavor that keeps you going back for just one more bite... and then another. I didn’t get a chance to try the sweet & spicy ones (yet), but if they taste half as good as they look, I might just have to move in. But here’s the real kicker—I got my hands on something not even on the menu yet. Call it a secret weapon: a loaded plate of crispy fries smothered in creamy mac & cheese, topped with that fire chicken. Let me tell you… it’s not just good. It’s "shut-up-and-take-my-money" good. Comfort food turned gourmet. I’m already planning my return trip—this time with backup. The family needs to try this. Final Verdict: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 If you haven’t been yet, go. If you have—go again. This spot is on its way...
