I’m writing this review because I want this to be reviewed as a training opportunity with staff from upper management. I called this morning and asked if the Mother’s Day special was still going on because I saw a flyer that stated you can get the Mother’s Day buy one box get one box free, and that it is on for the 12th through the 13th in lieu of Mother’s Day. When I called (before I came), I spoke with someone named Shayla. Whom told me to ask for Shayla, when I arrived at the conclusion and middle of the call. She advised that she was not sure if they were still doing that but to Go ahead and come up there and she would inquire In regards to whether or not, they are still honoring the special.. she then said if we are not still honoring the special, I will go ahead and give it to you (for the price of the one of course). Just ask for Shayla. ( Multiple times which is why I am reiterating) Not once did she say I had to have a special canes card Or anything of that nature, and that was the entire conversation. When I arrived An employee began asking me for a receipt to which I was very confused. I then told her I don’t have a receipt of any kind and told her that the lady on the phone said ask for Shayla. When she went to get Shayla Shayla asked me for some sort of card that I don’t have nor did I know I needed . Here’s my issue ..when you promise someone something and you don’t deliver it that brings bad rapport for business especially if you did not tell the customer they needed something additional when they called in advance. It’s extremely unprofessional and you should never make promises you don’t intend to keep. Fortunately, I’m not an argumentative person so I simply paid cash for one combo and drove off however, I am very disappointed to know that Canes does not honor their word. I’m going to be honest, if I had known I wouldn’t have been able to get the special I would not have drove to come get it. I explained to her that I I was a mother of multiple as is. I wasted gas I wasted time and I wasted money. Again, this is simply for a training opportunity and has no bearings...
Read moreIf you're a fried chicken fan, you'll probably like it, but I'm not, and so I need their dipping sauce to make it taste good. However, they don't give you quite enough of the dipping sauce, 1/2 oz., and if you ask for more, they charge you 40¢ for it, which I think is their being cheap and miserly, instead of offering good customer service and ensuring that the customer is happy and satisfied. My meal was almost $9. To put it in perspective, there are 128 ounces in a gallon, and if you multiply that 128 by 40¢ they value their dipping sauce at $101.40/gallon for a sauce that's nothing more than ketchup, mayo and seasoning. If it weren't for this policy, I'd have given them more stars, but I won't go back. 40¢ is all it took for them to lose a customer and a good rating. Even Mexican restaurants don't charge you for salsa refills, and that's often at the same...
Read moreThis is a family-favorite Cane’s location for us! Closest to our house and area of work, and also the one where we’ve had nothing but good experiences at. Thanks Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers on South Cooper!
Location: On Cooper Street close to I-20 and the Parks Mall Arlington. The parking lot is decent but can be a bit cramped and the drive-thru snakes through the parking lot during peak hours.
Food: Honestly, the chicken is good but nothing too crazy. It’s all about the sauce. When we go, we always get extra Cane’s sauce. The menu is also fairly simple, and they’re consistent.
Service: This location has always been great for us. We’re always greeted when we enter the building. They’re always kind to our kids. If it’s not busy, they’ll bring the food out to our table instead of yelling it out. Just solid service that makes us enjoy...
