We've been regulars here for years, but we usually do take-out. This time we did dine-in and it was memorably unpleasant. Everything started fine. Good appetizers, decent Thai tea. However, when our main course came out there was an issue. I didn't like my dish. I had my party members try it, and we all felt like something wasn't quite right, but we couldn't pin point it, so we came to the conclusion that it just wasn't to our taste. When we asked the server to take it back and exchange it for something else, his formerly nice demeanor turned condescending and rude. He demanded to know "why I ordered something I don't like". I explained I'd never had this dish before and didn't know if I would like it. He continued to snap and argue with me until he took the plate and brought something else. I stepped outside to collect myself (my friend followed), and he came back to the table and began to snap at my friend's elderly mother in our absence. He argued with her about the dish again, until she told him to just bring the damn check. My friend and I returned and we boxed up our food and went to pay for the meal at the counter. As we were paying, he approached another table and began to gossip with them about us. As. We. Were. Paying. We were maybe 10 ft away from them. We paid and left, immediately deciding to never go back. The other workers were polite and tried their best, but this one man made us all very uncomfortable...

We usually got take out from here, but decided to dine in today, the food was good, but the service made me, my best friend and my mother all uncomfortable. My best friend had ordered a dish she had never tried before, and determined that there was something not quite right about it. She had me and my mother try it, and we thought it tasted not quite right, and we all thought it just not to our liking, as none of us had tried the dish before. Everything else was all well and good, until we asked to exchange the dish, the male bespectacled server quickly became defensive, asking why we would order something we don't like, she said that she had never tried it, he finally took it away after some more arguing, and asked what she wanted in place of it. We became upset, but the final straw being him coming over to argue some more after dropping off the replacement dish, asking what we wanted to do with the offending dish, that none of us liked. My friend left to collect herself with me following not long after to check on her, I found out later that during our absence he came back to our table and argued with my mother. We returned inside with the intent to pay and leave, we boxed up our food, and went to pay, and he had decided to go over to the only other table in the restaurant for the sole purpose of insulting us to the other customers. The payment counter was very close to their table. We quickly left and decided...

Proof that sure numbers will float just about any decent business, but not everyone is so easily impressed, especially after dinning in much more reputable Thai cuisine restaurants. The worst impression was due to the significant deficiency of the staff and inattention. It's almost as though we ceased to exist after our meal was served, and they'll never look your direction, unless you wave them down. I'm assuming that there's a language barrier, but it's possibly more than that. Our appetizer wasn't brought out as we ordered, and was only offered toward the end. There might as well not exist a spice scale, "1 - 5", at the place, as we all ordered 3 & 4 to absolutely no avail. We need plenty of chili paste to spice up the dishes. Actually the entrees at this restaurant are akin to typical bland Chinese cuisine. Drink refills were insufficient, as they has not ability to observe empty drink and we had to request everything. The food was hot and did arrive in a timely manner. The place was busy when we visited, with a very rushed atmosphere. The decor is similarly bland and basic. Not a good representation of Thai cuisine. Unfortunately we cannot reccomend. Military and law enforcement discounts are not offered,...

My family and I went to Thai House to celebrate my sister's birthday on a Saturday. The first thing that surprised me about this restaurant is the fact that they took reservations on a Saturday, as many restaurants refuse to due to how busy Saturdays are. When we arrived the staff was warm and welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious. There were nine of us in the group and everyone had rave reviews about their various dishes. This is a great restaurant to visit for any occasion for great food and a nice cozy atmosphere. The pictures show how generous they are with their portion sizes. Don't hesitate to visit. Their prices are also very affordable especially considering how delicious the food is. Update from 9/3/2022 Thai house continues to serve amazing food at affordable prices. I'll be stopping by again if I'm in the area. My order this time consisted of drunken noodles, pad thai, crispy fried spring rolls and cheese rolls.

Find a Thai restaurant in Arlington if you're looking for one. You belong right here. In my view and opinion of taste, this is one of the best Thai restaurants in the Arlington region. Although it's not particularly busy, this restaurant has been operating for a while and places a strong emphasis on quality. Not like some of the newly launched Thai eateries who advertise themselves as the "Best in Town." The Thai House Restaurant is a large, comfortable setting similar to your own. Always asking if you need anything more, attentive service. Quick service of the meal (the sad thing was that the food was served on paper plates). Good meal that suits my tastes. The particular spice on grilled chicken makes it fill two people up when paired with rice. Wonderful service, pleasant setting, and good cuisine all around. In line with market rates, the price.

We thought of trying this place out, since we enjoy Thai food and we’re always on a search to find the best in the area. We got the pork and shrimp shomai, which they call dumplings. The wrap was on the sticky side and the flavor seemed a little off. Not the best I’ve had. When it comes to Thai food, I always want to try their Pad Thai, and well, it was a bit of a disappointment. It was very light in flavor and had very little sauce if any. It wasn’t bad. I just prefer it with more sauce and flavor, which it didn’t have, so I wasn’t a fan. The Basil Fried rice was pretty good. It seemed like the others I’ve tried before, so if I was to return, I’d probably order that again. My boyfriend likes to try the pad kee-mow and this one was a let down for him, since it didn’t have the same taste that he likes.
