Every time I come to this Starbucks something is disappointing compared to other Starbucks. The last two times I’ve gone my order was completely wrong. I’m breastfeeding and can’t have caffeine and my drink was clearly caffeinated last time but said decaf. I was jittery all day and couldn’t sleep that night and had to dump all my breast milk. Then today I ordered it with oatmilk and decaf but realized after I’d gotten back to my apartment that the barista rung up neither of those and it tasted funny (now I know why) so down the drain it went…$7 worth.
I think I know the problem they’re having…and I want to preface this with, I am bilingual and I understand that learning a second language is VERY challenging…but maybe don’t have the person who isn’t fluent in English running the register. Bc both times my order was wrong it was someone who didn’t speak English well and I had to repeat my order more than twice.
Another time I went, a young girl was so rude to me and my husband that I laughed bc I thought for sure she was being sarcastic…no…she just kept going with the rudeness and charged us for something that I didn’t order and when I asked her if she charged me for more than the four items (bc it came out to $27 for two tall drinks a muffins and a sandwich) she said no…but the next time I went and ordered the same thing it was $21… 🤷♀️
The incompetence here is on another level.

Read moreLocation: I think this location is incredibly convenient if you live or work within walking distance. Street and garage parking is available, but not the most convenient garage & the street parking of course isn't guaranteed to be available.
Mobile order: I haven't had a problem here! I use mobile ordering usually. My mobile orders are waiting on the far end of the bar with the receipt under each drink on time, or earlier than the app's projected finish time.
Drinks: I order soy lattes without foam. I've never had a problem with non-soy being used, or too much foam being left on the drink!
Other locations: Some locations in Arlington don't use soy steamers for soy, they'll mix dairy containers for almond/soy/coconut milk (15th St N), and another Starbucks in Arlington you have to wave down the attention of baristas to get your mobile orders (Spout Run).
Customer service: Some locations (Market St near Whole Foods) in Arlington are just flat out terrible with customer service, and that's never been a problem here. In fact, once when the app incorrectly said a certain bagel was available here, I ordered it & when I picked up my latte the baristas apologized when they informed me they were sold out of my bagel. They provided me with a $4 gift card for my troubles!
Work space: plenty of seating at tables, high tops, and a few couches! There's even a couple of benches outside (public not owned by Starbucks).
Nice to have: I wish they stayed open later, but that's about my only...
Read moreI will begin saying that the team is kind here, although I’m prompted to write this review as I do even when 5 stars in locations due to the simple easy FYI that they could have provided me. I asked for 2 sauces but half pumps for each in a grande. The old policy used to state that even if you order a different type of sauce you get to add pricing, however a few years ago they change this acknowledging that you’re still using the same amount of sauce. I was charge 60 extra cents for the same amount of sauce. I’ve been going to a different location by my house and they agree the policy is if the sausage and syrup’s are not mixed but yet it is the same amount of pumps, we will not charge you extra. When I shared with them that this is never the case and that this has changed quite some time ago the barista had to ask a different barista and it was almost as if they were shutting me down. At minimum they could’ve said we can do it for you this time. This alone will keep me from going back to that Starbucks I will however state that they were very kind but not customer service oriented in regards to seeing the bigger picture that that made me not want to come back as trivial as it sounds, it’s imperative that they get on...
