Taco Cinco de Mayo — Restaurant in Virginia

The service is fantastic, order is taken by the sweetest lady ever who brings a smile to my face every time. From the time I had the tacos, I came back every single day for lunch because they were so good, and only recently lowered the frequency solely for the purpose of my self imposed budget and diet. I crave this place constantly and it's so good - love all of their tacos, and their soups are consistently good.

This taco truck is my go to place for tacos in this area. Let’s break it down by the taco essentials. Tortilla, Filling, Toppings (TFT)

Tortilla: Well crafted masa using around 6” press. Close to home made. Served with double tortilla Mexico DF style.

Filling: Great tasting and not over done. They also offer rare lamb tacos which are delicious.

Toppings: keep it simple and authentic with Cilantro and Onion. Salsas are home made. Make sure to ask if they have any special salsa of the day.

Fun fact: owners are Colombian and learned about tacos in Mexico City. They offer avena drinks which are common...

I like to try places at least twice before reviewing. The service always is great. The food to me not so great. The chicken tacos were underwhelming. The chicken quesadilla the cheese taste funny to me. The beef tacos were chewy, I spit out more meat than I ate. The black beans were plain like out of a can and the rice just a no.
