Temptations Arlington's Restuarant and Lounge — Restaurant in Arlington

I really wanted to like this place. My friend suggested Temptations based on her previous experience. After yesterday, we will not return. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the hookah girl. She was very nice and able to help us locate seating. We were given our waitress, Emma, who seemed slightly discounted. Unbenounced to her, my friend and I were prepared to spend a bag based on on experience. Unfortunately, we were not comfortable with doing so. After Placing one order, Emma went ghost. We noticed she was standing by the bar and asked another member of the staff to assist us. He was able to get her attention and we ordered our food. She messed my friends order up. When we finally got our food, it was cold. The mac and cheese is stouffers and the mashed potatoes are out of the pack. The steak was tough and unseasoned. The only silver lining was the hookah girl and a member of staff who brought our drink and helped clear our table. In spite of these things, my friend and I still listened to the music. When we closed our tab, all shots were meant to be on my ticket, BUT once again, Emma went ghost. She brought our tickets after closing the tab. I noticed there was a 20.0% included gratuity and felt that was more than enough for her tip. After receiving my confirmation of payment this morning, I noticed my bill increased $20.00 from the previous night. I called to rectify the issue, but no one has answered, nor responded. I give the club 4-stars because my waiter and the food.

The female cook is good, the food is really good. I had my 50th birthday birthday party here and I was never advised that staff does not arrive until 8 pm and the DJ doesn't come in until nearly 10 pm, which meant my guest were there for nearly an hour if not longer before anything really started. The waiter that was assigned to me and my guest was AWESOME! (Sorry I don't remember her name) she made sure me and my guest were well taken care of while we were there.

Whom ever cleans for them need to be FIRED (hire me- I use to own a janitorial business in Austin) any who, they need to be fired, the floor was extremely sticky, which means the floor was never mopped or mopped with a dirty mop.

With the amount of negative reports with shootings you would think security would be more heavy. Nobody was searched/checked

The staff was not very knowledge of anything, they had to go to the club manager or owner. my first time hearing of this place so i went by to check it out cause i work in the parking lot next to them. my goal was to see the atmosphere because we would like to have an event there with out team. I only intended on ordering some food for us to all try and get the idea of. While i was waiting for the food, i ended up playing pool on their $1 table. After having a great conversation and a good game i found out that i have been hanging out with the boss the entire time. Once i found that out, i revealed my purpose of being there and this guy was just as awesome as he was when i thought he was just a regular customer. He gave us a few extra things added to the order for the staff to try and needless to say we will definitely be visiting soon. the atmosphere is a perfect lounge area to enjoy yourself without all the noise and drama you get from most places.
