I was concerned about driving up there, towards BestBuy because it is almost always snarled traffic but everything went smoothly. I kept my distance from the Costco and MOR stores because I don't NEED more. I was looking for a storage usb drive (I hope I have that term correct,) and I found one. IT WAS ON SALE!! WHOOT! After I got home without any problems in traffic, and told my son about the usb capacity, he yelled, "MOOOOAAAAAMMMMHHH! DO YOU KKNNNNOOOOOWEWW HOW MANY PICTURES THAT WILL HOOOOOLLLD!?" I said, "You mean 'media' don't you?" He just gave me a, well, one of those looks . . . The one that says, "Ok. Mom might have an idea about 'media' storage after all . . . . Highly doubtful but I'm not going to pressure her." Overall it was a good experience. Traffic was heavy, but I've driven in Seattle and I just pretend like it's Capitol Hill when I drive around Target/Costco in Arlington. That is what driving around Smokey Point has come to! Please be kind to others, drivers were fair and patient with me. Public life is so much better when impatience is...
Read moreWe went to Costco for a few items, and some we ended up getting that wasn't on our list. Usually happens though when we get there. For as busy as they were, we sure were able to navigate the store, find what we need, and check out in a decent timely manner. Staff was friendly, bathrooms were clean, and store followed guidelines with hand sanitizer and wipes being placed at little stations throughout the store. People seemed to stay 6 feet apart which I just like in general. I have social anxiety disorder and I thought I had to prepare myself for going in, but this trip I didn't have an issue. I think someone recognized that I began to panic when I went to find my other half and child and they were no longer at the register, and guided me to the food court where they were ordering a slice and a dog. Good experience will return to this location...
Read moreWe decided to go inside Starbucks for once and was very disappointed. We got weird looks when we came in, to begin with. I don't think we even got a "welcome to Starbucks". The server basically threw our orders (croissant, pie) across the counter for us to pick up. We don't expect to be served but we do want our food gently placed on the counter. It was like someone throwing food to a panhandle. Then there was a guy reaching across the counter to the cash machine and items behind the counter who was not in Starbucks uniform. Turns out he works there, just finished with his shift. We liked this Starbucks driving through but the dine in experience is off-putting. We're not going back to this establishment in the...
