My husband and I went out for Saint Patrick’s day here. I know that’s a little unorthodox, but everywhere else was busy and we both had long trips coming up and we’re going to be separated for a bit (I also just wanted a margarita). Jared was our server and he was absolutely amazing. He was engaging in our conversations, engaging with the baby, and just overall such a sweet guy! On the way out, I saw someone who looked to be a manager, his name was Kyle. Kyle was also amazing. He let us know that he was new and held conversation with us as well, even as he was trying to lock up because it was closing. I’ve worked and managed restaurants my whole career, so I know when people have good intentions, or are just saying they do. I truly believe that Kyle will be awesome for this place. My husband and I are still a bit new to the area, we only moved in October 2023, and only had come once before here (service was awesome as well, I cannot remember the woman’s name for the life of me though ): ), and this will probably be our spot that we go to when we don’t want to try something new or just need some comfort food. I literally had the beef tacos, so basic, yet so good?! Typing this, I’m actually thinking of them right now and craving them. I love it here, and can’t wait to come back when I’m back home. Hopefully Jared is working, we will be requesting him 🙌🏼

Visited during lunchtime for a table of five, we got seated right away. The hostess, waitstaff, & management were all very hospitable. I can't remember our writer's name (Travis, maybe? Glasses, taller dude) but he was excellent, not just with us but the other tables around us as well. Kudos to him! The manager (Amber? I really hope my listening skills are still sharp, lol) also stopped by twice to check in. Food was delicious, nice & hot. My sister in law is a vegetarian, of course it's nice to see several options for her rather than just one or two. She had a salmon dish which she said was good, my brother enjoyed his chicken bowl, Dad devoured his steak/chicken fajitas, while my mom & I enjoyed enchiladas. I'm also very happy that they made an accommodation for my allergies, I am allergic to shrimp so instead of shrimp & crab enchiladas they made mine with just crab. They didn't skimp on the crab either & oh my... UH-MAZINGGG! Restrooms needed a little love & the menus probably could've been wiped down. Prices are what you'd expect for quality & portion of food, no complaints there. Other than that, quick & friendly service with tasty food! We've been here several times & will continue to do so, happy to have an Uncle Julio's in Arlington!

I love the atmosphere here. It's so fresh and inviting. My sister has been before and was looking forward to the tableside quacamole, but Covid ruins everything, you know? They couldn't make it at the table, but they still make it and it's fantastic! I forgot to get a pic because we dug right in but it was the prettiest quac I've ever seen. I had a beef fajita bowl and it was quite tasty. My sister had the taco salad, and wow! A beautiful cornucopia of colors and flavors. I was surprised at the dessert they offer, I've never seen anything like it. It's a chocolate piñata. They give you a little mallet to crack it open and inside is a combination of pineapple, strawberries and churros. A bit too sweet for my taste and the chocolate tasted kind of fake, like that cheap Palmers chocolate, but it was a cool experience, especially if you have kids. The only thing that irritated me was their take out boxes. They were so small, those little Styrofoam divided containers. I never thought I'd care about take out boxes until I tried putting my leftovers away. All in all, a great experience. Oh, and the blackberry margarita was DELICIOUS!

We went to celebrate my grandbaby 2nd birthday today. Service was wonderful and the tortillas amazing. We went because of the piñata desert. It was delicious. But I do want to point out that your Hispanic bartender was rude. keeping a 2 year old well behaved in a dining setting is hard. So I took him to see if we can ask for some cherries. She was rude and walked a little off and said something in spanish. Now keep in mind I am Mexican and I know Spanish I thank God I wasn’t able to hear what she was saying or I would have not kept silent, from her expression I know she was not speaking positive about me. I could tell from the waiters that was waiting for drinks. I want to let the upper management know that I didn’t appreciate how she acted. But from the bottom of my heart I appreciated the young kind hearted waitress that went out of her way to get some cherries. I don’t know her name but she was working in the section by the restrooms and is tall beautiful and Asian ( I think ) she was very sweet. The service that we received from her is what honestly has me wanting and willing to go again.

Came here with my mom and her friends on a Tuesday afternoon. The restaurant wasn’t terribly busy and happy hour had just started. We were seated immediately (7 of us) to a table of waters, chips, and salsas. From then things became… off. Our waitress had an attitude from the time we sat down until the time we left. She rushed us through our order, was short with her responses, and wasn’t personable at all. She definitely didn’t show any respect for the elderly women she served. I ordered the lunch chicken fajitas with corn tortillas and the happy hour swirl x2. The drink was amazing! No complaints there. I enjoyed the fajitas as they give you a large portion for lunch but it makes me wonder how much larger than dinner. I initially ordered guacamole but they were out and I had to wait for them to make more (which wasn’t an issue) it was just the attitude we received when we were told. I did eventually get the guacamole. I had enough food for leftovers along with chips and salsa to go. Overall, I won’t return to this location because the service sucks but I will try other locations.

The food was really good and the service was really good as well. The reason Uncle Julio's did not break into the 5 star barrier was due to the host interaction and incorrect seating times. I do not want to get into the weeds, but if you receive a table and it's inadequate you should not have to go back on to the waiting list last in line. The issue was corrected by the manger but it should have been corrected at the lowest level. The host also reported a 35 minute wait but it was more like an hour, but I can get over that issue. No one can really tell the future, especially customer traffic in a new restaurants. Below is the scorecard: Food:5 Host Service/First Impression: 3 Wait Staff Service:4.5 Restaurant Indoors: 4 Update: I came back here for the second time and the service was not good. Empty glasses and food was like warm. I'm very dissapointed so I drop Julios to a 3 star. I really felt this place had high potential but the service was not great and the food was not as good as the first time. Host Service: 3 Wait staff 3 Food: 3 Ambiance 4
