Dear managetment... It really sad to say y'all got y'all priority all wrong. As I was going to the drive thru, I make my order and with all this new technology you could see your order on the screen. There 2 car in front of me wish they leave promptly quick. So as I approach the window the is wide open the is not save at all, on view side I seen 4 employees wish no one greats me, all of them females all talking not minding I am there just laugh and giggles. Cashier's only tells me the total didn't repeat the order, ask if I need any ketchup, napkins or croutons for my salad. I already at this point mad because there no manners. The other employee notice my face as cashier keeps talking to the other 2 employees again all laugh and giggles all I hear and the other employees hand me my drink. At this point I am paying attention around the store notice that there vanilla frosty machine is either down or already clean for the night. There cup holder sitting is top of there frosty machine didn't see a sticker of the time on the tea that was made and drink machine was dirty. I had work for Wendys for 2 year and was my first job and thank always my management for wath I have learn and just as I'm about to school y'all on what come first we all should know is customers, second work and last but not least get y'all time on food and drive thru corrected and y'all wouldn't have this many negative star or reactions. At all this cashier hand me my foods and. Debit card and say thank you, as I have imagine the I seen she didn't check the food and may have mess up well she did I was missing and entire meal. I am really disappointed because, I manage different store and move around to improve them always looking for candidate's the have good customer service to hire wish I am on the look out right now. All you need to understand the without customer you would have the privilege to have a job the your there for the customer...and the always come first and if you need to talk. Engage this conversation with your customers, have fun with your customers... your workers always come and go. Customers and always most of the customers, if you have good customer service there will be repeat customers and happy customers no matter how the food tasted. Read moreI'm in the drive thru wanting to use three of the boo bucks coupons for the $1.99 kids meal if you purchase something... I've purchased a few of these coupon books and have used multiple ones at a time at like four other Wendy's no problem without having to do separate transactions. I am being told I can only use two per person per transaction. So I ask to just do two separate transactions to feed the three kids that I have with me to use their coupons.. The manager here was a man was apparently the one speaking to me but was like not answering my questions fully and almost ignoring me. I kept asking why I can't just do two transactions then to get these meals and use the coupons. Then I'm told to come inside if I want to do it (seems like just a control thing and a way to try to piss me off) I asked why is he not allowing me to do it through the drive through and trying to make me come into the store .. and he's not responding just completely silent.
I came into the store and ask to speak to the manager, making such a big deal over something so stupid was ridiculous. He said he was the one talking to me. I asked again what the heart was behind him ignoring me and making me come into the store to purchase food? I said I've done this a few times now and haven't had any problems. He was literally just staring off into space not responding to me , it's like he was high on drugs or something and I started waving my hand and said hello are you okay? And he kind of smiled and said yes I'm okay and I said well your not responding to me so... I said they are trying to use their coupons to get themselves food ( my friends kids) and I'm getting my son food and your telling me I can't and I don't understand why. He said well you didn't tell me two different people were paying you just said two separate transactions... Like I shouldn't have to go into so much detail for you to take me order dude. Made me come in for nothing and now my order is taking even longer than the whole point of going through the drive through. He really wasn't rude but just not effective or common sense customer service. If I worked here I don't think I'd get paid enough to care about a stupid coupon. Read moreI had to change my review of this particular Wendy's restaurant. I began coming to this Wendy's in 2012. I had visited at least 10 other Wendy's within a 30 mile radius of this Arlington / Green oaks boulevard location. Prior to the pandemic I would have rated this Wendy's a 5 star operation. After a few visits during the pandemic I noticed the quality of the food, not just the burgers but the chili had diminished greatly. I do not like burger patties that have dark edges or beans that are hard like they have not finished cooking, and or water down. I dare not go through the drive-thru at this location because you don't know what they're going to give you so I go inside. I've had food twice from this Wendy's this year. On my first visit I didn't like the quality of the food that I was giving so I complained about it to the manager... a Spanish man about 5`7", who basically became rude and disrespectful to me. That was the beginning of this year.
My girlfriend went there today...at my request, and she asked for 2 single hamburgers and a large fry with no salt. When she made it home we had two single hamburgers with cheese and a ton of mustard, some kind of special sauce that I've never seen before on a single hamburger. The tomato was withered, like it was overripe, and the leaf lettuce was also withered badly, considering I don't live very far from the restaurant.
