The service is terribly slow and the chaos that ensues behind the counter is crazy. My husband and I went to get lunch after church. We opted to eat inside and would be ordering some things to go. We waited at the counter for someone to take our order as we watched people scramble in no sensical order to prepare drive through orders. Finally someone came and took our order. We were given our number and began our wait. After watching several other people come in and order at the counter or by way of the computer monitor and receive their orders I decided to see what the hold up was. I approached the counter and saw our sandwiches on a tray with fries (that as they sat were losing temperature) while other orders were filled. I looked at the fryers and realized they were waiting on our second set of fries. So instead of making sure our fries would be hot and fresh one set was getting cold. Once they finally got the fries out of the fryer I assumed they would realize that our firsr set would be cold and rectify the situation, but no, they tried to give me the cold fries. I asked if they could please replace them and they did. I took our food to the table. We had waited 20 minutes for our food. I went ahead and told my husband that I would order our to go order since it took that long for our food. So I proceeded to order at the kiosk. I sat down and began eating and watched as 5 other orders came in after me and were all filled before mine. I again went up to the counter 20 minutes later as we were leaving. We watched as they handed orders to others and finally asked if we had been helped . I asked about our order number and they had to go back three screens to find it...it was in a bag right in front of one of the employees. I checked the fries...they were ice cold. I asked for replacement fries. I have a few ideas that may help them improve their flow. First of all there were 5 people trying to put orders together as fryers were blaring the manager was asking people to turn off a fryer and lift fries as he put orders in bags. Put someone on the fryers and keep them there. Secondly, the other two girls that were basically going in circles just needed some direction. Have one put dining room orders only together and the other one man the register. The manager could have let someone else bag drive through orders and then he would have been free to jump in as needed. He was not leading he was micromanaging. I worked for McDonalds and my first job was lobby then fryers. It was chaos back there. It looked like a circus. Now I know why the drice thru is...
Read moreSo today I figured what the heck my kid wants McDonald's maybe it's been long enough my order will be right. Nope. Order an additional small fry in case my kid wanted more get home and realized they didn't put the fries in the bag. I called. They didn't answer it took 7 more tries before the phone even rang again. Like you employees have a bad habit of pressing the talk button so no calls can come through. Chick I spoke too sounded like she didn't care and wanted to rush me off the phone. She kept telling me I didn't understand her when I did. I told her I didn't want to drive all the way back up, tonight and waste more gas. It seems like every time I give this location a chance to be better then they were before I'm disappointed, out money I didn't need to waste here, and now having to make something else when the point of eating out was so I didn't have to make my child wait to eat longer then she needed to on a school night. This was supposed to be fun and convenient, but it was very disappointing and inconvenient. I try to be hopeful they will get it right but nope it looks like I'm just wasting my time and money every time I make the bad decision (very few and far between) to stop here instead of something better. I won't make that decision again. Maybe one day they will be better than today but I won't go back to find out. I tried to give them a chance and I'm out of chances to give your...
Read moreBeing a resident of the nearby area, I've visited this location several times. The service is usually subpar, orders are accurate about 85% of the time, etc. This is just the norm, after all it is McDonald's, not a luxurious high-end restaurant, what else would you expect? I usually just ignore the deficiencies and move on with life (shouldn't be eating the crud anyway). However, this experience needed to be shared (occurred 4/6/18 ~9pm).
My husband ran to McDonald's to grab a late dinner for us. He arrived back home and joked about the staff probably not being thrilled with him since he "made them leave the 'water cooler' to cook" (there were ~5 employees that could be seen from the drive thru window just hanging out, chatting). Apparently there were some 6 cars in front of my husband when he arrived; they all got through the line and drive thru window quickly, except for my husband. We're guessing the folks in front of him all ordered things that were precooked and hanging out under a warmer just ready to go. Our order took a long while; however, as you can tell from the picture, not long enough! The image doesn't do the quantity of raw meat justice, but I think the visible pink will suffice. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a medium rare burger... From a restaurant or my own kitchen though, not a fast food joint whose quality of meat is questionable. At facilities such as these ALL meat should...
