Smashburger — Restaurant in Arvada

I'm glad to see the new SmashBurger location in Olde Town Arvada! Tucked away in the shopping center by the park and ride and Snooze, it's kind of hidden from the street. I wouldn't have known it was there if I wasn't looking for it. Walked in at about 430pm and was empty. The workers were quick to greet me and make me feel welcome. The layout of the dining room is very open and bright with full west facing windows, which was nice to enjoy the evening sun! Scott, who I think was the manager, was very welcoming and made me feel like I was genuinely appreciated as a customer!! We ordered a couple of meals and dined in. I had the Double Truffle Mushroom and swiss burger with lettuce and tomato, fried Brussel sprouts, and an oreo shake. My son had the smoked cheddar brisket double cheeseburger, fries , and iced tea. Everything came out hot and fresh!! The mushroom burger was very good! The bun was nice and toasted. The swiss cheese was melted with crispy edges. Mushrooms were thinly sliced and cooked nicely. The only thing it needed was salt!! The burger was just a little plain. Salt would have made it even better!! The Brussel sprouts were excellent! Perfectly fried and seasoned! The non-dairy oreo shake was good but definitely tasted non dairy. The brisket cheeseburger was awesome! Very rich and flavorful! Juicy and well cooked. The brisket was tender, and the sauce was a very good addition! The regular fries are excellent as well! Hot and crisp! Lightly salted and perfect for dipping in the house made ranch!! I had been craving a burger for the longest time then I found Smashburger, which is right down the road from me. I’ve passed by this location a couple of times and kept telling myself next time I come by here I have to eat here so I finally did. I stopped in today with my mother and enjoyed a very delicious burger and fries. Mother and I both got the classic Smashburger however, the only differences in our meal was that I had the flaming hot fries I believe is what they were called and she had the regular smash fries. When I took the first bite of the spicy fries, I thought to myself oh great another french fry that’s not spicy However, the more I ate these fries, the more the spice kicked in and they were so delicious. They were the perfect amount of spicy. The burger was fantastic. I got the double patty, classic smash burger. It was cooked to perfection. Manager was very rude when I asked if any items still needed to be made. I just wanted to know if I had time to get out my laptop and work on another project while I wait for my doordash delivery order. Super unprofessional it was simply a ves or no question but he very told me very curtly that he would let me know as soon as my order was ready. But then it sat there for several minutes without me knowing it was done. very not cool. additionally not only is it so condescending to force dashers to show you that they confirmed the order, it's also completely pointless as it's still super easy to steal the order, and if that does happen it will just be cancelled or the restaurant has the remake it with pay from doordash.
