McDonald's — Restaurant in Asbury Park

Absolutely terrible experience.

Not only did they overcook the fries to the point they were almost burnt, but they also forgot to include my burger — the main item of the order. The sweet tea was disgustingly over-sweet, more like syrup than a drink.

To make things worse, the girl at the counter was openly flirting with my boyfriend while preparing the order. Maybe that’s why she forgot half of it. We didn’t check the bag right away — yes, that’s on us, instead of giving us the missing burger, they handed us some random extra nuggets we never asked for.

When we came back, we asked about the fish filet, the same girl asked, “Where are my nuggets?” at the register. My boyfriend responded, “Where’s my gas money for driving back to fix your mistake?”

And to top it all off, when they finally gave me the wrong burger — a Filet-O-Fish I didn’t ask for — it had ketchup inside, even though I never requested it. She handed it to my boyfriend with a sweet little smile, as if she knew exactly what they forgot and just didn’t care and keep smiling at him.

Absolutely unacceptable. Won’t be coming back to...

McDonald's Main St. Asbury Park, NJ August 2022

The drive through had a long line, we opted to go in and eat there. I believe this place is one of the original McDonald's. It was definitely a throw back from when i was a kid . Unfortunately, It ends there. The hand sanitizer was empty, the wipes were like sandpaper. After we placed our order. I couldn't help but notice the place was fested with Flies. Approximately, 20 to 30 of those biting green head flies. The display case with the cookies 🍪 Must have had 5 of them sitting on the cookies 🤮.

The manager was inappropriately dressed, she did a lot if yelling, Where's the cook !!? He always disappears. Maybe the flies beamed him up🤔

My take away from this is, always go in to any place when ordering food. If it's clean, do a drive through.

One never knows what you might discover . This questionnaire left out the options run like the building is on fire 🔥 or call the board of health.

Probably the worst McDonald's I have been to in years and I have been to several with the work I do. When the coach of the team I was driving said he wanted me to stop at a McDonald's or Burger King I googled it and saw this one was only a few blocks away so we stopped in. Upon entering the store I decided to use the restroom prior to ordering any thing but when I attempted to open the door saw that it was locked so I figured it must be a one seater so decided I would wait for someone to come out. After sitting for about 10 minutes and having 2 or 3 others try to open the door I heard a buzz and saw someone else walk up and open the door so apparently although there is the normal sign stating it is for customers only there is no mention to ask for a key, something that I have not seen at a McDonald's since the days when the restroom was in the back and there was no indoor seating.
