Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Asheboro

Horrible customer service. I have placed many orders for delivery from my home and from my office (which is beside my home) and I see Jimmy John's delivery cars pass my house daily.....I call tonight for a delivery and I'm told that they don't deliver to my address. The store is LITERALLY 2 miles from my home. When I tried to explain that I received delivery from them many times before, the employee who answered the phone threw the phone down and I could hear her telling a fellow employee in the background that he needed to deal with me. I have been a loyal customer since the store opened and my office caters from Jimmy John's frequently and with large amounts of food. I guess the next time my office is deciding which restaurant to cater out of, I will kindly remind them that Jimmy John's no longer delivers to...

Ordered a sandwich today. Arrived promptly, missing the cheese which is a standard item on this sandwich. When I called to let them know I was promptly passed to Matt. Matt identified himself as not only a Manager but a owner and said it’s a family owned shop, then Matt proceeded to tell me there are new people there that don’t know what they doing, and it’s busy that’s why my sandwich was missing cheese. I explained to him that’s pretty bad customer service on his part to not only blame his workers but to blame his customers. I was told it is what it is and I can throw the sandwich out. I asked for a credit so I’m not sure if I will get it but one thing is for sure I will never order from Jimmy...

I have to say that I am really pleasantly surprised... after a day at the zoo, we wanted something easy to take back to the hotel room. Our subs were made exactly how we ordered. I ordered on the website when we were about 5 min up the road and when we got there they were done. We ate half of our subs shortly after pickup and saved the other half for later. Even after 4-5 hours in the fridge, they held up really well and didn't get too soggy. The bread was really good and fresh. I am a northerner where we have alot of good food so my expectations are usually pretty low around here and this was prob one of the best subs I've had...
