I don’t do a lot of reviews but my experience at this KFC was so horrible, I felt it was warranted. First issue, as soon as I pulled up to the drive thru I was told it would be 30 minutes for chicken (at a restaurant that primarily sells chicken… should have left then! ). So I asked about chicken littles and was told those were available. I pay, and get my drink, then sit at the drive thru window for about 10-15 minutes. I get my food and pull off. Luckily I began eating in the car. I immediately noticed that the chicken little was not piping hot as expected after waiting so long. I then realized there were no pickles on it, no napkins in the bag, and not even a fork to eat my mashed potatoes with. I head back to the drive thru and ask for a manager. This staff said she was the manager so I explain the problems. She then says she would need to tell her GM. I asked to speak with GM. Same staff comes back and hands a bag of food out the window. I again ask to speak with the manager, asked for napkins since none were included in the “new” bag of food and was told they were out of napkins. Finally GM comes to the window with a nasty attitude and says “we remade your food so what’s the problem now”. I asked for my money back at this point. She says “I’ll need the food back then”. I hand it to her and she asks for the drink (which I have now had for over half an hour because of this ordeal). I said “do you seriously want this almost empty cup of soda back”, and she proceeds to tell me she will just knock that off my refund. I give the cup back, get my money and ask for the corporate number. She tells me it’s on the receipt. I tell her that’s another thing her staff failed to give me. Then she tells me they don’t have a corporate office. Then I ask for the franchise owners contact info. She tells me she doesn’t know it. She rattled off the number to the store and gives me the refund receipt which has no contact information on it at all. I ask again for a number to whoever her boss is and she shuts the window, saying very sarcastically “hope you have a better day”. At this point in my anger and frustration, I find it best for me to just leave. I will never visit this restaurant again. Read moreI PLACED A ONLINE ORDER AFTER DOING A LITTLE YARD WORK AND MY DAUGHTER SAID SHE HAD TAST FOR KFC. NOW NOTE I STOP GOING TO THE ASHEBORO LOCATION DUE TO BEING DISRESPECTED IN A PAST VISIT. BUT I SAID OK PLACED MY ORDER AND WHEN I GOT TO THE LOCATION I SEEN NO ONE WAS IN DRIVE THRU AND NO PARKING I PULLRD UP AMD WAS GREATED WITH DRIVE THRU CLOSED ( VERY NASTY TONE) I SAID OK BUT IM ACTUALLY PICKING UP AN ONLINE OREDER SHE THEN TOLD IN A NASTY LOUDER TONE YOU NEED TO COME IN. SO I DID AFTER REALY WANTING TO SAY FORGET THE ORDER. I GOT ON THE INSIDE ANS AFTER WAITING BOUT 15 MIN I SEEN A FEW LARGE BAGES SO I MOVED OVER TO THE PICKUP LINE TO ASK BOUT MY ORDER BUT WHEN I ASK THE GIRL ( AND I USE GIRL BECAUSE IT WAS CLEAR HER ACTIONS WAS AS IF SHE DIDN'T HAVE THE SENSE OF AN ADULT) SHE ASKED FOR MY NAME GAVE HER MY LAST ( NOW I RELIZED FROM THE TONE AND VOICE SHE IS THE GIRL IN DRIVE THROUGH) SO I GAVE MY FIRST SO SHE HANDED ME THE LARGE BAG AND SAID TO ME NEXT TIME GO TO THE COUNTER SHE WILL GET IT FOR YOU NO FOR ONE IF YOU DO HABE A PICK UP LINE WHY WOULD HABE ME WAIT BEING I BEEN IN THAT LINE FOR 15 MIN ALREADY AND NOW MY FOOD IS COLD... I SAW IT WAS CHILDREN AND ELDERLY IN THE BUILDING PLUS IT WAS SUNDAY SO I SAID I WAS GOING TO WALK OUT BEFOR I GO OFF. I NEVER BEEN SO DISRESPECT IN MY LIFE IN ANY RESTURANT TILL I CAME TO ASHEBORO. IM IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AS WELL AND A MANAGER AND IT IS NO WAY IN HELL I WOULD ALLOW NO TEAM MEMBER TO DISRESPECT THOSE WHO CONTRIBUTE TO OUR PAYCHECKS AND IT SPEACKS BOUT MANAGEMENT BECAUSE THIS IS AN ON GOING ISSUE.... Read moreI came through the drive thru yesterday(July 15, 2023) and was treated like a burden by the lady taking my order. My family and I are returning to Asheboro after spending the past 7 years in California due to military service. The poor customer service we recieved yesterday was extremely disappointing, as we remember Asheboro being such a friendly place. The women who took our order and payment at the window was not only unfriendly but unhelpful. I ordered a 16 piece bucket of chicken and two half gallon drinks for which I asked for six cups, six straws, and 6 forks. My request was viewed as an annoyance and the lady who was there to help me didn't even give me the things I needed. I had to park and go inside to get my forks. Once inside another lady came to help me and when I asked for the six forks she stated, "six forks?" I responded with yes and that I had just came through the drive thru, at which time she granted my request. My question to the staff that day was, "if someone ordered the same thing and wanted to eat inside, how would they be able to do so with no forks or plates?"
