I feel compelled to leave a review after the 2 horrible experiences I had this week at the Arden Huey Magoos
Went through the drive thru and ordered a grilled huey wrap with no cheese, sauce on the side. The operator miscalled my order back to me 5 times. By the fifth round, I thought it had to be a joke. Finally we got in the same page, I pull forward, and I’m rang up for the wrong items. Another worker remedied the issue and I was on my way.
Today I went through the drive thru again. Order 2 wraps the same way plus the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. Get to the window, pay, get the food, drive down, and see one of the wraps is missing. Go inside to have it fixed, and am handed a box with the wrap incorrectly made. Go back in again to get what I ordered and paid for, and as I’m waiting, and young lady working there in a pink shirt says she’s sorry the order was incorrectly made twice, that shouldn’t have happened, and said she’d like her manager to speak with me.
The manager eventually comes over and she asks if I’m waiting for my food or what. I say yes. She comes over with a bag with 2 wraps — I explain I was only short one. She opens the boxes and shakes the around a bit to examine the wraps, hands me one, and walks away.
And I get in my car…and it’s still the wrong order!
At this point, I can’t go back. When the orders are made correctly, it’s delicious, but the majority of the staff working at this location need tremendous training. The manager that was on duty this evening was disheveled and unprofessional — the high schooler who approached me to try and remedy the mess up was the best employee there.
Hope they can get it together — I’m not going back. I was there for over 30 mins and...
Read moreMy order number is 9044. I love coming to this location, Long Shoals Rd. We have never experienced bad service until today.
I was asked if I wanted chicken on my side salad I shared yes. And then when I got to the window, my side salad did not have the chicken and Michaela last name starts with a B shared. That side salads do not come with chicken, which was fine. But I did not ask for the side chicken. I was asked if I wanted it. I told her that that’s fine if it did not come with it I should not have been asked if I wanted it. And that I wanted to make sure I was not charged. She responded without even looking that I was not charged. I drive off. Look at my receipt and I was charged! So unprofessional. I had to turn around and come back.
I came in and thankfully someone else helped me by giving a credit back for the extra chicken that I was charged for. This person was so nice, helpful and apologetic.
I totally understand if chicken did not come on the side salad, but she should not have asked me if I wanted it, and when I shared that I wanted it and it was not given but I was charged for it and Micheala not checking that I wasn’t charged was unexcusable. She also left out my daughter’s apple juice. For which I did not realize until I was already at my next destination.
So her unprofessionalism is just unexcusable. She was playing around the entire time instead of paying attention to what was going on and I’m just very dissatisfied with my services with her. I understand people needing to have fun at work that’s totally fine, but you still need to be professional when doing...
Read moreI decided to try this new restaurant as an option on my break from college classes today. We have only about an hour for lunch and so I'm limited to places that are close to the Biltmore Campus. That being said, I love buffalo chicken and crinkle cut fries and they have both, so I had to give it a shot. I went online and placed an order after creating an account. That wasn't too challenging and by the time I got to the restaurant, the order was ready. I went inside because I wanted to see what the restaurant was like. The decor is pretty modern and minimalist. Very cool. The service and the speed of order delivery and even delivery method in the drive through reminds me of Chick-Fil-A. I ordered three tenders sauced with buffalo sauce, crinkle cut fries, and a large iced tea. The to go items put in the bag were perfect. Since I was eating at a picnic table outside the college building, I was really happy that they provided ample napkins, plasticware, and ketchup packets. All the thoughtful things provided for a person to truly eat this on the go were great but the important question is what is the food like? It was awesome! The tenders are some of the best quality chicken I've had in a fast food restaurant. Three were plenty for a meal! They were hand breaded and tossed in buffalo sauce and the buffalo sauce was tangy, spicy and brought the slow heat. The fries were seasoned, crispy, delicious and plentiful. I was surprised that the Texas Toast was not soggy. It was all very flavorful and delicious. There are a lot of varieties with the tenders and the sauces. I'll...
