This was my favorite brewery in Asheville! The location is extremely cool, by the old railroad tracks and in an up-and-coming area. They do a great job with the space that they have, and they bring in really great food trucks like El Kimchi. Their beers are some of the best that I had when I was visiting Asheville, and I like that they are quick to serve and answer questions. The seating outside by the tracks give it a very cool vibe, and all the seating is covered which makes it good for hot days. They also seem to serve free peanuts for people to snack on while drinking. They also have games like corn hole, and a covered back patio with benches for bigger groups. All in all I'll definitely be coming back here when I come back to Asheville!

This has been a staple brewery in our repertoire for almost a decade. In fact, I met my wife here 9 years ago on a blind date. Over the years, the brewery has expanded its outdoor seating to include picnic tables and an outdoor sports patio (for cornhole). The range of beer selections has also expanded and features several one-offs and seasonal beers in addition to their flagship beers. The Iron Rail IPA has always been one of my favorites and has never disappointed. In an ever-changing and modernizing River Arts district, Wedge has become a pillar of the community. I highly recommend stopping by for a beer! Sit outside, eat some peanuts, and grab a bite from one of the local food trucks.

I didn't find any particularly special beers here but they were all very well made, classic styles of beer. A flight (4 beers - 4 ounce pours) was $8. My favorite beer was the Wit. It was pleasant with some cotton candy like flavors. They offered free peanuts with plenty of outdoor seating for chilling. If you are visiting here keep in mind, Wedge Studios is in the front right off the street. You actually have to drive around to the back of the building (the side of the building with the railroad tracks) to get to the brewery. Overall, nice solid brewery but didn't stand out among my brewery touring in Asheville.

Beer is good but the service experience was horrid. Shorter curly headed girl behind the bar was rude and proceeded to lecture me as to how my actions were wrong. If you sell a beer at a brewery, expect someone to drink it. If the beer you sell is designed to be consumed off premises how about a heads up before you lecture an adult as if they are a child. She threatened to pour out my beer rather than explain to me what the real issue was. I understand there are laws in place but courtesy and information would be helpful. Sadly, she proceeded to intrude into our group conversation after we sat down to yet again lecture us as an entity. If I recall you are suppose to be a good steward to the business and informative to the customers. Thank you for the...
