Wendy's — Restaurant in Ashland

Hi, I’m a employee at this store. Recently I was looking at reviews for our establishment. And there are a few things that get repeatedly mentioned that I think should be addressed. Walk ups after our lobby closes, we want to serve you but it is a safety hazard we don’t want anyone to get hit by cars that may come zooming through the drive through Staffing, we are a college town. And a majority of our staff are students even a few managers are students and when the school breaks come around some of us are kicked out of our homes or forced to pay an absurd amount of money if we want to stay so our hours drop, our lobby closes, and our staff gets smaller, we try to interview and higher people but issues arise with that with people’s availability being the only time we actually do have staff or even unreliable transportation. Our product, sometimes we are out of things, our chili takes hours to make, along with our potatoes, we also sometimes deal with national or state shortages on items such as lettuce, tomatoes, and even some bread products.

I apologize if we have made a mistake we all do and we try to right all wrongs we do make if we can, but at the we are people just like you. Please don’t yell at us if we don’t let you walk up, or if we do not have the items your after we are trying and a lot of these things are out of our hands and we want answers just as badly as you, I promise you we...

Slow. Slow. Slow. The last time I went, on an off time, there was one car in front of me. He ordered 3 sandwiches. It took them over 10 minutes to get them out. Meanwhile, the gal at the window pulled my frosty and let it sit. On a 95 degree day. It was of course totally melted and I had to drive back .... hello? Always check your order there before you drive off. Edit: this is truly a special Wendy's. Today, it took nearly 15 min to get my order (burger and fries) with one car ahead of me. I heard this order too. Two burgers and a frosty. They don't seem to grok the concept of the drive through. The cashier took one order, and kept all other cars waiting at the order speaker until she had fulfilled that order. No other cars, no other orders. Once that car drove off, she took the next order. I know this because she shoved my food out at me finally, then slammed the window, on to the next. I had to wait 4 more minutes just to ask for catsup, witnessing all this nonsense. Had to leave a review because of the extent of how nasty this place is. The service was gross, the cleanliness was non existent, the drinks tasted watered down, the food tasted stale. The teenage boy behind the counter dropped my friend's wrapped burger on the floor and just picked it up and handed it to him after a minute. He also didn't give us drink cups after we ordered, we had to ask for them when the food was ready. There was a puddle that was covering the entire counter next to the drink machine. Flies everywhere. So annoying trying to eat with that many flies. My friend said the bun was stale and dry. I didn't get a bun so mine was fine. We were on a road trip and didn't even try to use the bathrooms because of how gross everything was. We went to the gas...
