As someone who has needed to remove gluten from her diet, due to medical conditions, I was extremely disappointed at the gluten-free bun experience that I had at culvers. I have always regarded culvers at the high end of fast food with excellent hamburgers, sides, And of course they’re amazing custard. However, when you order a gluten-free bun, you will receive a bun in a sealed plastic bag, your burger, patties, and supposed toppings come in a separate box and you were expected to assemble your burger yourself. My patties came without any of the condiments that I had requested and after assembling the burger myself and attempting to eat it as a normal burger the bun literally falls apart in your hands. It is so crumbly and stale. I’m not sure how this bun past quality control for a company that prides itself on having high-quality ingredients but somebody needs to look into their gluten-free buns and come up with a better option if you can’t find a product that meets your quality standards. You shouldn’t carry up a lettuce wrap would be much better than that terrible crumbly stale gluten-free bun. My advice to anyone that needs to eat, gluten-free, don’t bother with the gluten-free bun at culvers. It’s a waste...
Read moreWe were in Green Bay visiting and staying across the street at the Marriott. After clearly discussing with the drive through employee, my daughters inability to have gluten due to Celiac’s Disease, I was assured there wouldn’t be any bread or dinner role and no gravy with her meal. I was told that wouldn’t be a problem. I still have the receipt showing the order. After going back to the hotel my daughters pot roast was on top of bread and had gravy. Contacted Culver’s and they told me I couldn’t exchange the meal for the correct one because it goes against their policy. So now my daughter couldn’t eat her dinner. She’s only 7. I told the manager this was unacceptable but they refused to do anything. Instead they said they would send me coupons in the mail. I received the coupons which were only good at this Culver’s, 2 1/2 hours from my home. A letter was attached with a snarky response of how to “properly order without bread so this wouldn’t happen again. I assure you, I am very capable of ordering food at Culver’s and making it clear about my daughters disease. Just poor policies, poor customer service and a poor experience. I sent a letter to Culver’s corporate office and never...
Read moreI have never been more disappointed and disrespect during fast food ever in my life. My family had ordered at this culvers to have dinner after a nice night out. We were never given a number for our order so it lead to us having a mix up. When we got our order remade, it was STILL not correct. We then POLITELY asked them to remake it AGAIN. We were then handed a COLD BURGER with fresh add ons ontop which is a health hazard. While we were waiting, we found out 7 DIFFERENT CUSTOMERS were also having issues wirh their food and some were there for A HALF AN HOUR. When we called to complain we were not all not taken seriously WE WERE HUNG UP ON. I will NEVER, EVER be coming back to this culvers. I will urge everyone I know and see to also NEVER go to this culvers. Not only are the employees incompetent, the manager is disrespectful and will not take your complaint seriously. Absolutely disgusted by...
