St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store - West — Local services in Ashwaubenon

The prices here are not fair.. $10 for a ratty pair of shoes. $16 for a pair of used jeans. This used to be one of the most reasonably prices thrift stores in the area. There must have been a change in management or something. They get the items free and charge outrageous prices for used, often stained and tattered items. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because you CAN find good deals if the item you want happens to be decent quality and 50 or 75% off. And I understand that the "proceeds go to help those in need" but it almost feels insulting to those of us who are in need and come for affordable, used clothes and see price tags that are more expensive than new items on sale at Walmart. Like here- buy this stained pair of jeans for $12. It's upsetting because this store is really one of my (and I'm sure many other's) only options to purchase clothing and shoes, and the prices are insane for...

Stop representing a Godly buisness . You are greedy just like any other business . 🤣 they were selling a broken shoe that fell apart (the bottom fell completely apart+ both sides were missing the black bottom stoppers too ) I asked could you just do these for a dollar ? I knew I was going to be the only person to buy these honestly . The guy (not a gentleman ) replied no can’t lower it at all . Seriously ? Y’all rather throw these shoes away than just price it for a $1 for the quality it was in ? You aren’t saints at all . I understand you can’t bargain with everyone and that’s so understandable but seriously when the condition was that bad ? Greedy buisness and people working there . First time ever here, I easily could have spent the whole day here. It is well organized, especially the books, awesome prices too. They did not have much furniture at all, and another cashier would be great. I only had 3 items, and was stuck behind a lady with over 100.00 in clothes in her cart, a second cashier would have helped the long line that happened due to the lady having so many purchases. I didn’t shop the clothing section at all, so I can’t comment on that, but the lady in front of me sure found a lot, so I’m sure it’s good! I didn’t have much because when my husband saw how much stuff was here, he rushed me through because we probably would have been there until tomorrow...
