Honestly, I didn't wanna write this review today because I don't like being in a certain mood when I write these, but I would like to share my experience today because I believe it's important.
I would like to start by saying the food was actually very good. Everything my party of six ordered was good to very good, in my opinion. But...that's where the praise stops.
We arrived around 2 PM, I believe, on Father's Day. It wasn't busy at all from what I could tell, and we got seated right away. Sat down, started to go over the menus, and waited for our server. Downhill quick.
To be clear, she was very polite and sweet. Nothing seemed amiss. She asked us for our drinks, and we all got waters except for me because I also got a Coke. About 15 or 20 minutes go by. No drinks. My mom comments that we should be ready to order when she comes back, because it seems like not being ready might take us into next Father's Day. So our orders were locked and loaded. (I would also like to add that we had ordered two appetizers, cheesy bread and artichoke dip, when she brought the waters. Remember that.)
So, she comes back and takes our orders, and everything seems okay at the moment. Then...time starts to pass. As I mentioned before, it wasn't BUSY. We're just chatting, thinking everything is cool. But, then we start to realize it's been around 40 minutes and we haven't even gotten our TWO appetizers that we ordered less than TEN minutes into our meal.
For reference, a family of four had been seated in a booth near our table around 20 minutes after us.
Then, like a gift from the heavens above, our appetizers arrive. Again, very good. The cheesy bread was great, my family liked the dip enough to eat almost all of it. Now, if you remember, that family near us had arrived AFTER us. Their appetizer? Came like 2 minutes after ours. That seems strange. I would understand if we had ordered 4 or 5 appetizers. But we did not.
So we enjoy the appetizers, commenting on how long it took, but still somewhat in the experience. But, then....time starts to pass again...
My brother and sister had ordered two side salads with their orders. After a period of time goes by, we start to wonder what's taking so long. At this point, we're probably an hour in. All we have gotten are waters and appetizers. Finally, the side salads arrive. Then my stepfather's soup finally gets there. So things are looking up, right? HAH!
I'm not sure how long it was after those last items arrived that we finally saw other food items because at this point, I've lost all sense of time and respect for this restaurant. Oh, and how many times would you think a waitress would come and check on her table after ALL THIS TIME? If you said at least once...umm...
So, finally the entrees arrive, and we're all ready to eat. Except...for my niece and I. She ordered a club sandwich, and I ordered the Hangover Burger. With my order, I can understand that it takes over an hour to cook a steak burger, a fried egg and a hash brown. (I hope my sarcasm doesn't go over your head.) But my niece ordered a CLUB SANDWICH. What do you need to cook other than bacon for that sandwich?!?!?! And why would it come over 15 MINUTES LATER after my sister's veggie pizza?!?!?!?!!? By the time she and I got our orders, the rest of the family was nearly done. Also, my sister had asked for more water and a Coke when their food arrived. Wanna guess if she got it or not?
After a while, we had to ask another waitress to send over our waitress, and when she asked what she looked like, we literally said that we hadn't seen her enough to remember what she looked like. And that's the honest to God truth. The only thing I remembered was that she had dark hair.
To summarize, food was great. We didn't blame her for the wait time, that's not her fault at all. But her service was abysmal and she got the tip she deserved.
I said before this review was important. And that's because good food can't make up for...
Read moreVery rude customer service, we had our order wrong for two times, we mentioned nothing with pork and half side with no olives on pizza, but it was wrong (it's okay people make mistakes and we understand) the thing that really bothered us was the waitress not acknowledging it, not being courteous (excuse me / sorry about that / ) we did not like and felt disrespected. Because, when I tried speaking up (with my below average English) about it's been two hours because we waited really long for our food and I saw others were serviced first, which is also okay. But when I told the waitress nicely but with disappointment, it's been very long like two hours and the order was wrong twice "nobody stays here for two hours are you sure what do you want you want me to pack it up for you to take home" we were there around 7:45 and it was around 9:15 so yes almost 2 hours and another thirty minutes of eating the wrong food, she was very straightforward very rude saying all those words (for sure because she could speak better and can talk over nicely with a non native speaker), then i mentioned about wrong order she said " I don't cook the food, the chef does" and things like what do you want now, do I take it back and much more.. Then I said at least compensation, she said yes we can do that, she came back telling me " you don't have to pay for anything and just walked away fast. then left without even looking or waiting for respond. Our moment was ruined for sure.because she made sure I was wrong about everything I said. The purpose of this all is, we were all there from different countries and to enjoy our friends company, a restaurant is never just about food but also about being social, being nice to the customers, I don't believe in customer is always right either but you can listen to the customer if they are having a bad experience and deal with politeness if they are polite at least, I hope the owner/ management of this restaurant can help the staff in learning courtesy and dealing with complains. Yes, thank you that we didn't have pay for it (as we should not) but it does not hurt to be...
Read morehonestly. it was a wreck. i went today around 7pm and left at nearly 7:30. i got half of my order then had to wait still. i was worried about my job for doordash. i got there and saw another girl waiting for her order with no service. so i checked the receipts and asked her the name of order and handed her a bag just sitting at the front. it was pretty ridiculous to say the least. nobody was helpful AT ALL other than a redhead girl working her a$$ off to get everything done and etc. i felt horrible for her. it was not busy. i had multiple servers walked right past me and then going on their phones… i was super disappointed. this place has gone so down hill. back in highschool i used to love this place, but in the past 7 years it’s gone very down hill. i felt ignored. and disrespected. a costumer even ASKED if i could get attended to before them. if you cannot handle doordash/uber eats don’t put your place up on there. bad service. bad and rude employees. one bigger guy behind the bar on his phone. brunette with glasses looked at me multiple times then ignored me, one guy checked a receipt then played with the marker? and then finally my savior red head came and at least helped me. that place should hire more people like her. she’s a keeper. but like i said very disappointed. been going for years back then and now never again, especially never going to accept another dash order for there.never a good thing to hear “goodluck in there” from multiple delivery people back and forth. the people i delivered to even apologized because they know it’s an insane experience there with ever delivery driver “dont worry it’s usually always...
