Leaving this review on New Year’s Day because we went on New Years Eve and had arguably the worst dining experience ever. We were a “large group” of 10 all around 30 years old. We were polite, ordered a couple apps and some drinks for the table. Waitress had no rhythm or order, just random writing and half-shouting across our table. She didn’t seem overly thrilled to have a large table which is a shame, because I imagine someone who liked their job would’ve been great with our table. After our drinks came out, we got our apps and then the waitress basically disappeared. A decent amount of time passes and the waitress started bringing steaks and then half the table needed refills. Rather than taking her time and being patient, the waitress slings my plate and the sour cream on to me in the same moment.
My steak was suppose to be rare, it was raw all the way through the steak, not just the parts that are suppose to be and not seared anywhere. I sent it back to be cooked but not without the waitress saying, “well you wanted it rare, this is rare,” to which I respond, ma’am, this is literally raw, I know what the different levels of steak temps are. I mean seriously, a rare filet mignon is one of the easiest slices of meat to cook besides a burger.
My girlfriend ordered a medium rare steak and it came out like a rare steak should’ve been. Rather than sending hers back, I opted to cook it myself. We paid $6 to have some of the worst cooked steaks I’ve ever witnessed.
To make matters worse, the waitress asked if we wanted steak seasoning on our steaks — for the life of me, I didn’t taste any seasoning on the steak, the potato, or the toast. This place is well past its prime and I’m surprised there’s any good reviews. I love a good dive bar, but this whole restaurant is a dive; and not in a good way. The waitress’s attitude was appalling given how bad how service was. Unless something serious changes here, this will become a place I discourage anyone from...
Read moreI recently visited Prime Quarter Steak House in Green Bay and I must say, it was an exceptional dining experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant has a cozy and rustic ambiance, perfect for a steakhouse.
Now, let's talk about the food. The steaks here are simply amazing. They were cooked to perfection, juicy and tender, and seasoned just right. I could tell that the meat was of high quality and the flavors were outstanding.
The service at Prime Quarter Steak House is top-notch. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. He made some great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The staff as a whole was efficient and our food was brought out promptly.
Another highlight of this restaurant is the interactive grilling experience. Each table has its own grill where you can cook your own steaks to your liking. It was a fun and unique dining experience that I haven't had anywhere else. The staff was always there to assist if we needed any help.
The prices at Prime Quarter Steak House are reasonable for the quality of food and service they provide. I left feeling satisfied and happy with my dining experience. I also appreciate that they have a separate menu for kids, making it a family-friendly restaurant.
Overall, I highly recommend Prime Quarter Steak House to anyone visiting Green Bay or even locals looking for a great dining experience. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a 5-star rating. I will definitely be making this a regular stop whenever...
Read moreWe went here for the first time today at the request of my dad, for (early) father's day, and I wasn't really impressed. The prices are quite high even for a steakhouse. The concept sounds fun but it's not like Korean bbq or yakiniku where you're cooking at your table as an activity with your party. You're standing, crowded around one ultra hot grill with everyone else in the place. Dirty and clean plates stack up all over quickly. By the time we finished grilling our steaks we felt like we'd overcome a trial, and I enjoy grilling typically. The steaks ranged from tough to reasonably tasty, and we all got ribeyes cooked similarly. The baked potato was surprisingly very good and the salad bar is fun. Wish there was bigger plates for the potatoes that weren't chilled already for salad. Service was pretty mid, our server was friendly at first but the moment we had an issue with food (do not order their mushrooms and onions, they're NOT sauteed, they tasted like canned steamed mushrooms, and onions had no caramelization), the server got really rude and snippy and argued with us about it, but did remove it from the bill at least. She was slow about drink refills and was visibility irritated when we asked for the bill split into 2. Just basic stuff. Place is very dated but it's kinda cool in a way, feels like you've just stepped back into the 80s or something. Definitely won't go...
