This place is fantastic! We first stopped in for some fresh clams and were pleasantly surprised at not only the fish selections but how great their prices were in comparison to other places I’ve been to along the Oregon coast. We ended up buying steamer clams, sea bass and frozen snapper. They had a wide selection of both fresh and frozen seafood along with an array of exotic meats like alligator. We Also discovered they serve food for dining so we ordered the salmon melt and clam strip basket, believe me when I tell you it was the best and freshest seafood meal we’ve had in a LONG time! It was hard deciding on what to eat as they offered more selection than we’ve seen before. The prices were affordable and the selection was pretty varied. I definitely recommend this place and we’ll most definitely be back to both dine and purchase our seafood from now on! Worth the drive from Portland for sure!!

Stopped in for lunch on our road trip and had the grilled Chinook and Cioppino, both were so FRESH and delicious. Hubby slurped up every bit of the broth. Service was outstanding as Annie kept checking on us to make sure everything was perfect. As I was paying my bill she was making fresh Bloody Mary mix and I had to stay to try. OMG! Best Bloody Mary I’ve ever had. Thank you Annie for a great experience and lunch! We will be back when we visit Astoria!

Great place to stop and grab a snack on our road trip! Unpretentious and tasty food at picnic tables on the deck. Loved the halibut. Felt a little slothy after soooo many fries. I updated the address with Google, should be easier to find now. If you end up lost just go back to the main road and head down Basin Street. Make a left and park. NW Wild Products is in the back. Public bathroom is in the same building around the corner.

I used to come here everytime i come into town which is about once a year because I don't live in this area. I had stopped by as i always have. Walked in around 11am right when they opened. I stood there in the middle of the place for quite a while and nobody would acknowledge me. There was one person watching TV at the bar and two other guys at the end of the counter taking care of a commercial order they were receiving.. After standing there and not knowing what's going on, i asked politely of there was anyone that could help me. The person at the bar turn around and walked over to me and asked me what i wanted. I told her two orders of halibut fish and chips to go. She acted let she didn't know what I said so I repeated the order. The person that was helping had broken English and apparently English wasn't her primary language. (Which didn't really matter to me, but it did make it hard to communicate and i wasn't sure she knew what i was ordering). After standing back watching her, she was looking really confused because she was all over the place looking for things and my order was not being filled. So I asked if everything was ok. Then all of a sudden right after that the guy at the end of the counter raised his hand and pointed to the door and told me to get the hell out of here. I was shocked. I asked him what did i do. He said he wanted me out because i couldn't wait my turn to be helped. First off there was nobody in the place except the delivery guy, there owner ( which wetter at three end of the counter) and the other employee. I had stood there for a long time with out anyone saying a word to me. All they had to say is we will be right with you. But they said nothing. I had no ideal what was going on. I have never been treated this rudely before and especially by the owner. I will never...

This review is based on customer service that I received today at 11am from a rude man. I called yesterday to purchase a whole Chinook Salmon and the Gentleman quoted me $8 per lb and I told him that I will be in tomorrow morning and he said to please come in! When I arrived this morning I was not greeted by anyone and I walked around to the kitchen and this nice lady came out she asked me what I needed and I told her that I would like a whole Chinook Salmon. She went around the corner to get help and a man came out and said "Is this one ok" and then walked away from me without letting me know the weight, if I wanted fillet, vacuumed package? From this point, I had to go find him in the the fish cleaning area and I asked him if you could please filet it and if I could get it de-boned? He then replied and told me to go to a hardware store to purchase pliers! I then asked him how much a lb and he told me $12.95 per LB. The price was still a great deal and I just wanted to get out of there. After he finished cleaning this fish he came to ask me for my credit card without weighing it and yelled out $136.00. After he was done running my card he returned the card with blood and fish guts on it and walked away. No thank you, No, do you need anything else? Just walked away without thanking my family! Then I had to wait for the little lady to come back and I asked her if she could tie up the bag, pack it on ice and if she could hand it to me around the plexi glass! The rude guy literally just left the bag open with no thank you or receipt and walked away! He must have been born in a...

We went here in hopes that the market was still as extensive as the old pictures. Unfortunately that’s not the case. But the owner was there and still found some left over exotic meats he had left over. It was BUSY. And while we were waiting and seeing all the delicious food coming out of the kitchen, we decided to sit and have a meal. Jessica was the one who helped us and she certainly didn’t expect us to just decide and sit. We should have asked. She didn’t even flinch. As busy as she was, running all over the restaurant, her customer service never failed. She was SO nice and accommodating. She is definitely a reason to come back. Hard to find personable workers who do that great of a job in a high stress environment. The food is delicious. We had halibut fish and chips, and the cheese crab melt. They definitely don’t skimp on the crab. We will definitely be returning and recommending. But don’t go and expect the market anymore. They have a seasonal limited case of select things. When we went it was a few kinds of fish, smoked fish, shrimp,...
