The truckload of negative reviews ain’t lying - this place is a cesspool of negativity, unless you’re a local maybe?

The bartender was a middle-aged white lady who intentionally avoided me for 20 mins while I tried to place an order, while she made small talk with the locals.

The crowd here is the epitome of degeneracy - elderly folks binge drinking, youngsters addicted to the gambling machines, belligerently drunk middle aged men trying to get teenage girls drunk and pick them up, the bartender assisting them, it was all on display.

I’ve traveled all across rural small town USA and several dive bars, and enjoyed every single one of them - this has to be the worst. I don’t know - all the locals with a drinking problem seem to love it - is that a reflection on the locals or the bar? I don’t know, but don’t bother...

Ok they have a cigarette machine in there facility. So I put my $8 in the machine and nothing came out! The bartender then states oh so sorry the back row is a different number the row you pushed is empty! Ok no problem I will just take my money back!! NOT you have to go to our other establishment Astoria Brewing and talk to the manager!! So we do and the manager said oh so sorry not our machine!! You have to contact the vender.. I say but the machine is in your business. He didn't care!!! This was at 7:00 on on 8/24 this is not how you do business. Oh and when I told the manager I was going to just write a review he said have at it. I will now complaining to the ATF because these people clearly do not know how to...

I encourage anyone wanting to try out The Chart Room to stay away! It's ran by the same owners as "The Dirty D" or most commonly known as the Desdamona dive bar. So the staff is fluid. Meaning the bartenders bounce back and forth to tend bar at both locations. Overall unfriendly staff, with a very rude and general distain for average customers. They mostly serve only their friends! Overpriced drinks in a very cramped, damp, mold smelling musty closet of a space. The overwhelming smell of the bathrooms wafting through this tiny bar is the icing on the cake. It's always humid and always uncomfortably hot. There are a lot of other great spots to grab a drink downtown!! And they are all 1,000X better than...
