Blue Butler Coffee — Restaurant in Atascocita

I was looking for a coffee shop that wasn’t a chain like Starbucks or Dutch Bros since those take up most of the spots on the map around me. I wanted something local, and luckily, I came across Blue Butler Coffee. It’s a coffee food truck behind AutoZone with good reviews—though only a few—so I decided to check it out.

If you map the location, it’ll take you to the parking lot in front of AutoZone, but the truck is actually in the shared lot behind it, near Atascocita Montessori. They do have signs on the road to help you find it. I actually called twice before going—once to check their hours and again for directions—and both times, they answered quickly and were super nice.

As soon as I got out of my car, I was greeted by two adorable kids saying “Good morning.” I think they were the shop owners’ kids or maybe family friends, but either way, it made the place feel really welcoming and family-friendly.

The menu has a great selection of drinks, including specialties like Cinnamon Bun, Mexican Mocha, and Honey Lavender, but you can also order whatever you like. The coffee is really good, the service is super friendly, and they even give you a punch card—your sixth coffee is free!

I’m not local to the area, but if you are, I definitely recommend stopping by. It’s quick and easy, plus you're supporting a local business instead of a big chain. The coffee is better quality, and so is the service. They also have empanadas and cookies! I didn’t try them, but the cookies...

The lady and gentleman are from Argentina, it was my first time meeting people from Argentina, the accent is beautiful. My mom is from Ecuador and dad from D.R. so it's nice to meet people from other Latin countries and learn about their culture. The gentleman told me the beaches in Argentina are beautiful, so they were very nice. I ordered a Dulce de Leche Latte, but the lady was able to make it less sweet since I like my drinks on the stronger side. I also had the ham&cheese empanada, blueberry bread, and Guava filled cookies. Drink was very delicious, empanada was different and new to my taste buds, the bread is yet to be eaten since I'm stuffed, and the cookie was perfect if you don't love sweet stuff. A coffee/food truck in my side of town in Atascosita and is it incredible. Had the cafe con leche coffee and it was a perfect balance of sweetness and coffee flavor that you want in the morning. A must is the empanadas, man so good! Had the carne picada with a chimichurri like sauce on the side that just kicks up the flavor. Also had the ham n cheese empanada and it was so savory.
