Very horrible experience at this location. I placed an online order when getting off work around 11:30pm takes me took me 6mins to get to the facility When arriving I at the intercom I explained I had a mobile order was told to pull around to to the window, the young lady Sam I believe to be her name gave me my drink and told me to pull forward she’ll have it right out. However that was fine I didn’t mind what’s a few more minutes but while a few more minutes turned into 20mins I had to pull around Park my car walk to the side door where I meet with Sam the window clerk assisting another customer that was told the same thing apparently by pulling forward.. when ask how much longer she didn’t respond to me but I hard her when she went inside and i over heard her tell the cooks that I was getting upset about my order as I wait out the door Than she comes back and pass the next customer there food I ask again she than tell me I told them already and for me to come inside “ODD” because the lobby was closed, but when inside I see 5 workers inside and not one worker acknowledge me before I had I to inform them that o was inside.. when asking them all that I’m waiting for an order for a online for over 30mins sill everyone keep working.. when raising my voice to make sure I was heard them I’m guessing the manager told me it’s coming 10mins I explain to her that I’ve been waiting well over the expected amount of time that I shouldn’t have to get out the car to come inside a Clive lobby for some 3tender and a checked sandwich she than gets an attitude and told me I can wait of not cancel my order I explained I doll wasn’t familiar with how to cancel online orders that I had just got off work this is unacceptable when ask for the store number she ignored me Sam than told me that the 2 lady’s in the black shirts where the managers on duty when I asked them they told me they was regular employees… and based off the reviews I can definitely believe that they only acted like that because no Action will be taken… but I’m going to do everything to make sure...
Read moreI had placed a small online order the night before last, which I couldn't pick up due to being unwell. When I explained the situation to Elizabeth at the drive-through window, she asked for the receipt. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the receipt in my email at that moment, but I showed her the transaction details from my bank statement, which included the date, location, and amount charged.
Elizabeth then brought Tiarra into the conversation. Tiarra was incredibly kind and understanding, while Elizabeth seemed to lack customer service experience. Despite showing the bank receipt, Elizabeth still didn't recall seeing my order from the previous night and made it difficult to resolve the issue.
However, Tiarra handled the situation professionally. She explained that it was difficult for them to help us without an official receipt. We told her that we understood and asked if we could just place a new order. Tiarra then asked us to park and come inside the restaurant so they could assist us further. It appeared that Elizabeth didn't want Tiarra to take our order at the window. Once we parked, I found the receipt in my email and brought it inside. Tiarra provided excellent service, while Elizabeth seemed visibly bothered and expressed dissatisfaction with the support Tiarra was giving us. Elizabeth did not want to honor the receipt despite it being an official online order receipt from Popeyes. This confused me because why would she ask for the receipt if she never planed on honoring it?
Based on this experience, it seems that Elizabeth may benefit from additional customer service training or perhaps this job is not for her. I believe it's important for Popeyes to have representatives who reflect the values and standards of the company.
Overall, while Tiarra's assistance was greatly appreciated, I understand why this location has received such low ratings in customer reviews with leadership like Elizabeth.

Read moreThis Popeyes has been a 1 star rating in my book for a long time, however it has climbed to a 3 star over the past couple of months with the signs of impossibly climbing even higher. The quality and taste of the food is pretty standard of any chain restaurant and was not the reason for the low star rating. so if your craving the unique flavor of Popeyes Chicken, this location will do the job. Where the low stars come from is in the way it was ran. The owner/manager would not honor his own advertised prices, let alone any of the national advertising. He would even pretend to not speak English at times when confronted with the issue. Then almost EVERY and I do mean EVERY trip there you could count on getting home and opening the bag to find the order was screwed up one way or another. It got so bad we no longer would go thru the drive up window we would go in because the only way you got what you ordered was buy taking it all out on the counter in front of them. Our family went from visiting Popeyes 3 to 4 times a week to going else where when we were craving chicken. So that was the bad now for the good. I don't know if the Owner finally got the hint from all the complaints or if it's under new management but this location is climbing the star rating ladder because of honoring there advertised prices and they have improved tremendously in getting our orders correct. Instead of EVERY order being screwed up in one way or another they have improved. Out of our last 5 trips there three orders were correct and two were messed up.
