It used to be a great place to eat before prices went up and quantities and quality went down. A barbacoa burrito bowl used to be a meal, not a snack thrown onto a pile of rice and beans. Smallest portions I've ever seen come from the Atascocita location. Almost half of anywhere else we've been in houston. After eating there 3-4 times a week for years we are done trying to give them a chance to make orders worth paying 40-80.00 a visit for. The last time the lady put a few scraps from the tongs split between two bowls from a full bin, then acted like she put too much. With everything else put into bowl it didn't even come close to filling the bowl. Not worth the money, not worth trying to talk to them because they just look at you like youre stupid for questioning them, not worth the gas anymore. 10 minutes farther to baytown from us but at least they make things worth driving for and spending money on and don't ignore you or act like you're stupid for asking why there's barely anything in the order. Worst service I've ever had in any location anywhere in the country was Atascocita. Ironically I see other orders overflowing and looking amazing while I'm still in shock trying to figure out if this is a joke or not. Once upon a time it was our favorite location on east side of i45, but now it's hands down the worst waste of gas and money in houston. I rarely give bad reviews to anywhere, just praise the good places, but this was ridiculous enough that 2 weeks later I'm still mad enough I'm finally writing a review for a place that will no longer get 100s a week from me. Take your chances with a taco truck. You'll get more for your money, will be better food, and you probably won't get sick. All a definite perk to avoiding here with...
Read moreI been going to this location at least 2 years twice a week. It’s the closest location to me. The food is usually pretty good quality. But my complaint is about the service. As of recent they have hired really young people that obviously it’s their first job, they definitely need to take the time to properly train these individuals. Need to teach them the importance of Customer Service. I work in the service industry and i can assure you these people are not being properly trained. I had a young girl with glasses give me some problems my last 2 visits, for simply asking for fresh rice. Due to the fact that it was at the bottom of the tray and I’ve had bad experience as they are usually harder for sitting there a while. She decided to argue with me over what i should get, that either way I’m going to be served that rice. I just asked her to mix it with the new one, personally i was a bit embarrassed. As there was a line, i simply asked her to take care of the next customer that i would wait. She was there huffing and puffing making faces. I think these kids need to understand the importance of customers, as without people like myself that eat here often they wouldn’t be in business. I will think about it twice now before going to this location, just to avoid being embarrassed. Thank you for your time, i hope this reaches someone at chipotle who actually cares about customers,...
Read moreAs someone who eats a lot because I am a fatty at heart, I was excruciatingly disappointed for this unpleasant chipotle experience. The picture below is my friends kids tacos. What are these portion sizes? This was not worth what we payed. That’s a SNACK, not a meal plus I got a bowl. The portion sizes aren’t coming out of your pay check so stop being greedy, my friend is too skinny, I need to get her to survive winter. Speaking of winter, when our food arrived, it was cold. We could stand the cold, if we HAD FORKS. I did not receive a fork with my bowl.. the fork seen in this photograph was one WE borrowed/shared from my other friend’s mini salad bowl (who luckily was smart enough to not order chipotle) Seriously, was I supposed to raw dog this bowl with my bare hands? I mean I totally would because I love to eat but like.. just give me a fork. We spent 30 bucks on this, the average American gets payed 7.25$ an hour at a minimum wage job. Now take our meal which costed 30$ (including tip) and divide it by 7.25$, this entire “meal” took approximately 4 hours to afford and we were able to eat it in less than 10 minutes. Everyone says America eats too much, and I would like to live up to this connotation so please fill up everyone’s bowls/burritos/or taco plates...
