The Gem Sports Bar — Restaurant in Athens

Came in to catch some Monday night football, the place exceeded my expectations. Staff was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was great! The three of us ordered separate wing entrees, boneless and traditional. I had the extremely spicy which had great flavor and were spicy enough to have me sweating. The mild were perfect, little to no spice with a great buffalo flavor. The third were boneless with a Carolina gold sauce. We really enjoyed that flavor and the boneless wings were huge for the price with a crisp exterior. We all highly recommend the wings! The TVs were large and in all the right places which made watching the game easy and enjoyable. Unfortunately it was raining so we weren’t able to enjoy the patio area, but we were more than satisfied with sitting inside. The drinks were great as well, beer was cold and the mixed drinks were enjoyable. Overall we would highly recommend trying Gem out! On a side note, the napkins they use there are unbelievable. The best single use napkins I’ve come across!...
