Waited 1h20 mins after estimated delivery of 1h. Called the store just to check to make sure it was received etc. Girl answering phone responded their system was down and at first said she couldnt do anything. Asked when I ordered and what the estimate was. I provided the info nicely and stated its 20 mins late. She couldnt even confirm an order was received and/or was being delivered. She then asked for my phone number and said she would text the driver to see. Then immediately told me I would have to call back in twenty more minutes. I replied in no mean tone that I could notice that what she was suggesting was horrible customer service why wouldnt she call me after hearing back from the driver. She then told me I was mean. I tried to explain myself and that I wasn't being mean, she talked over me the whole time then hung up. I called the store back twice and the phone was answered and immediately hung up. I had to tweet pizza hut to even get anyone to respond to me.
Edit: it’s been almost a week and the manager still hasn’t called me and I’ve been charged for food I didn’t take. Was told by corporate and the driver the manager would call me last week... nothing
Edit: The store manager never called me. I had to go through Twitter again and the Regional or District Manager called me had to tell the store manager to give me money back in cash. I went in and the Store Manager acted like nothing happened. No apology or anything. Never going back here seems to be a common issue based on...
Read moreYou lost a loyal, often and longtime customer tonight. I had ordered online; the response was that my pizza would be ready at 6:40pm. When I arrived on time, I clicked that I was here; my partner had ordered. She had gone through the protocols of my name, vehicle description, passenger side window, etc., and I waited. A young dark haired woman in one of your uniforms, behind your desk, saw me and disappeared to the left of her station. I waited. Another customer walked in; same young lady (by the way, without a mask) took care of that customer, then lingered at the desk as if checking something. She disappeared again, same direction. I waited. She returned, walked to the warming station, fetched out a pizza and came to my passenger door, still without a mask, and said, We don’t accept curbside delivery after 5pm; I found that odd since on Sept. 17, we had ordered out even later and gotten curbside delivery. Thinking maybe their service had changed, I asked why the website indicated curbside service was available. She interrupted, saying, Just so you know, we don’t do curbside after 5, then turned on her heel and stomped inside. Really, Pizza Hut? You’ve a leader in COVID protocols, and in a city with a mask mandate you hire a mask less angry young person to serve customers? Too many good places in town with professional service in step with community policy to pay Pizza...
Read moreI’ve had the same negative experience twice in a row. First, it took 41 minutes for my order to be delivered after I received the “order out for delivery” text message. I did not request contactless delivery, but the driver dropped my food on my concrete stoop and then rushed back into their car. They did not even knock on my door, and I only knew it was there because I saw their car through the window. My food was lukewarm. They forgot to deliver my two liter of pop. I called the store twice and was hung up on both times by two different sounding voices as soon as I said I was calling for a refund on the pop. I wouldn’t normally hold the delivery issues against the store, but I can’t see myself ordering from there again after being hung up on twice. If I change my mind, I’ll only ever pay with cash so this store won’t be able to keep...
