Update: I can't remember the last time I was able to come here and not have to pay cash. No idea why this is such an ongoing issue with this place.
Pretty much ever since this location opened I've been underwhelmed by the service and quality. The place is often dirty ...of all the times I've been in and around the dining room I don't think I've ever seen anyone cleaning it ...and the service team seems to be a little less than coordinated. It's improved slightly over the years, but not as much as you would expect for how long they've been here.
Coffee and espresso drinks are fine, but as is the case with most Tim Hortons, the breakfast sandwiches are pretty disgusting. They are not just bad -- they are the worst breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. I can't quite put my finger on it, but the eggs just don't taste like eggs, the meats don't taste like meat, the muffins and biscuits that hold it all together don't taste like anything at all and usually seem to be soggy as soon as they are served ...I just stick to the coffee and lattes when I want something convenient while having to be out on State Street. For donuts, McHappy's on...
Read moreOur first experience at this Tim Hortons drive-through was great, which is why we decided to give it another try. We like to visit a place a few times before making it a regular spot, but today’s experience was disappointing. I accidentally ordered for inside pickup instead of the drive-through, but once I reached the window, I figured it would be simple for them to hand over my already-paid-for order. Unfortunately, the staff refused and insisted that I come inside to retrieve it. I felt this was poor customer service, as a small gesture of flexibility would have gone a long way. The hassle level for this simple request felt high, which is discouraging when choosing a place to become a regular.
Suggestions for Improvement:
• Train staff to accommodate small, reasonable requests, especially when it makes a customer’s experience smoother. • Improve flexibility at the drive-through for minor order mistakes. •. Emphasize customer service values that prioritize convenience and a...
Read moreThe workers here are AMAZING! I love the quality of food and overall have never had an issue and I am a huge Tim Hortons lover. However the OWNER of this store obviously does not care about the employees. They have been a “cash only” store now and do not take cards for months. This is not the workers fault and I feel so bad for them that they probably get yelled at because the owner of this Tim Hortons doesn’t care about its employees enough to fix the card readers on their machines.
There’s been many times that I have had to stop going here because I do not have cash, and I do not have time to go into the store to use my chipless card reader. Again, the OWNER of this location is getting a 1 star. The employees and everyone else gets 5 stars from me. I hope for them the owner of this franchise will read/ see this and actually get this fixed not just for customers, but so that their kind employees stop getting yelled at for a problem that they physically...
