I came here yesterday for my sisterâs birthday. The atmosphere was great, it was decorated everywhere. We had a reservation, so there was no wait. As soon as you walked in, you were hit with a bunch of cute decorations from the entrance to everywhere you walked. It was Valentineâs Day themed, which is super adorable! The place had great taste in music, which I loved, it was soothing and enjoyable. Unfortunately, I do not like Italian food in general, so I canât really say much about the food. However, I did eat the bread, the bread was fresh hot like it was out of the oven, it tasted pretty good, not much of a flavor, just bread. I didnât eat anything at the restaurant, because again, I donât like Italian food and Iâm really picky, but I ate some pieces of grilled chicken my sister had, bread, and tiramisu. The place was a little cramped if you ask me, and if you try going to the bathroom, it was somewhat hard to get the door open.
There arenât any stalls, just a one person bathroom. The service was amazing, the server tried to her best to accompany to my taste, because I didnât like anything, she gave me a plate that way I could eat off of my sisters, since I had nothing. They gave us glow bands and party hats, which I liked. They also had valet parking. This place, I would say it is not kid-friendly at least imo, if youâre an extremely picky eater like me, wonât eat pasta or any of that stuff, I wouldnât take my kids here unless they have a good taste in variety, because I guarantee you, they wonât eat anything here like I did. The kids menu is 10 & under, and it is a prefixed meal, meaning you donât get to choose, itâs just set out for you.
Another thing, the food was a pricey, most items were from $15-30, which is understandable. However, if you got more better things like ribeye for instance, it was up to $70, which is a lot if you donât have the money. Itâs like a fancy restaurant, if you plan on coming here with a few people or yourself, and youâre paying, get ur wallet ready to spend at least $100+. You also canât share. If you donât have money, probably donât come until you get money. If you have picky kids, pick somewhere else unless they have a good palate. The place isnât bad, itâs just my taste. If you really like Italian food, want some cute atmosphere decoration, have money, and like good music (imo), Iâd definitely recommend this place! I probably wouldnât come here again, but I can see this is a good family owned business, the service is awesome, everything is great. Iâm not going to bash a business, because I didnât like any of the food, itâs just my honest opinion.
Thanks for reading and hopefully this review helps others know what to expect when they eat here! (Sorry,...
Read moreI would strongly advise against dining at Amore e Amore unless you want an absolutely terrible experience with customer service. I went there on March 8, 2025, around 7 pm, and it was nothing short of awful. My waiter, a Caucasian male with glasses and short blonde hair, was incredibly rude from the start.
My experience began when I asked for a straw for my drink. Despite asking five times, it took over an hour to get something as simple as a straw, while everyone around me received their orders within seconds. I also asked for water and lemons, and it took more than 30 minutes to get that.
When my meal finally arrived, it was bland and unappetizing. The presentation was basic and unremarkable. I was still planning to eat it, but to my surprise, they didnât offer plastic ware. When I asked for some, the waiter responded rudely, saying, âWell, next time bring your own plastic ware.â This kind of comment is completely uncalled for, especially from someone in the service industry.
On top of that, the restaurant itself is cramped with very small tables that are packed closely together, making it uncomfortable. And donât even think about wearing heelsâ the ceilings are so low that youâll constantly be worried about hitting your head.
Itâs shocking that I was treated this way, and Iâve never experienced such poor customer service in my life. If you're looking for decent service and a pleasant dining experience, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.
Response to Manager : Even after receiving a response from the manager, it was painfully clear how poorly and carelessly they handle both their business and their customers. This so-called ârestaurantâ is an absolute joke. A white tablecloth eatery with cheap decorations and even worse customer service. It's honestly a tragic hole in the wall that shouldn't even be in business.
The staff was inattentive, and it felt like they just didnât care. To make matters worse, even high-end chains like STK and Ruthâs Chris are doing a better job with plasticware than this place is doing with their supposed âfine dining.â The sad truth? They're just too cheap to invest in quality, and it shows in every detail.
To top it off, when I left a review expressing my frustration, the manager responded with, âPlastic ware in a white tablecloth restaurant? This is too much! Do us a favor and stick to the joints with plastic utensils.â Honestly, if that's the attitude they have towards customer feedback, it's clear they have no interest in improving or even providing basic service.
Save your time and moneyâthere are plenty of other places that actually care about their customers and their experience. Avoid this place...
Read moreCute spot with great vibes. If youâre going for the Harry Potter pop up experience, reserve at 7 or 8 so that you can get the full atmosphere with the decor and fun music.
We were seated at a table right inside of the door and there were flies and small gnats circling the table for half of the time we were there. Ask for a spot away from the door 1. Because you can actually feel like youâre experiencing the full Harry Potter theme and 2. You wonât have people shuffling in and out squeezing past you the ENTIRE time. IMO that table is a good spot for a small host stand in the corner.
Mediocre response to dealing with food allergies. Wasnât a huge problem but the menu items didnât have descriptions so we had to do a lot of asking about what ingredients the dishes had in them before placing an order.
Food was not good at all and itâs expensive. I had the lobster ravioli. Portion was small and lobster was so under seasoned and over cooked that I actually spit the first piece I tasted into my napkin and left the remainder on my plate. When you make a reservation, you receive a not so gentle reminder via confirmation text that EVERYONE must order an entree along with a few other rules, which was a bit off putting but we wanted to see what the Harry Potter pop up them was all about.
Both drinks I ordered were sweeter than I expected. The second drink I ordered, the Luna Lovegood, was described as containing lavender syrup and Prosecco. The server brought me a drink that was dark pink in color as opposed to the other rounds of the same drink that were light in color and when I asked, he brushed me off telling me the shape of the glass changed the color of the drink entirely when in fact theyâd switched to a rose Prosecco in the middle of our time at the restaurant. Not a huge deal that it was swapped; the drink was still good, but totally strange that the server completely dismissed my question.
The place livened up a bit once music turned on at about 8:15. Itâs loud enough to hear but not so loud that you canât carry on a conversation. Overall I would probably go back for an early nightcap and order a bottle or two of wine and...
