This Johnny's Pizza is the absolute WORST of all the locations I've been to. The employees couldn't care less about providing quality (or even sub-par) customer service. They're rude, and they're incompetent.
I purchased two pizzas for pickup last night, and asked for parmesan packets before leaving. The woman at the counter just shrugged and said they didn't have any. (What kind of pizza restaurant doesn't have parmesan!?!?) I looked around the (empty) restaurant, and there were full parm shakers all over the place. She could have offered to put some of that parmesan in a to-go container for me, but of course not. Too lazy and too cheap. We had some at home; so I just said ok and let it go.
It was Friday night and the place was completely DEAD, and I can see why. The workers are rude and act like they resent you being there, the ambiance is incredibly boring, and the air quality in the building is atrocious. Plan to wash your hair immediately after leaving, because you'll smell like a grease trap.
Once at home, I opened the pizzas and discovered that one of them was missing the pepperoncini peppers that I had ordered and paid for. I immediately called the store to let them know that they were not on the pizza and to refund my card for that topping (not because I need the $3 back but because I'm SICK of restaurants providing rude, awful service and not being called out or held accountable for it). The incompetent woman who "didn't have any parmesan" then proceeded to tell me that I had made an error in placing my order, and that I had actually ordered double pepperoni (she actually told me that the words "pepperoni" and "pepperoncini peppers" "look similar", and that's how I "got confused"), so no refund would be given. I insisted this was not the case, and that I knew exactly what I had ordered, but she continued to tell me that the fault was with me, not her or her "husband", who she said made the pizza. I pulled up my order receipt online and there it was- the exact pizza that I had ordered and paid for, WITH pepperoncini peppers, NOT double pepperoni. The incompetent woman then proceeded to tell me that they have a "policy" that I should have checked my order before I left the store to make sure nothing was wrong with my food. I said to her- "So, I should have to dig my fingers thru the cheese on the pizza I just paid for to confirm that you and your employees actually did your job and made it correctly!?!? Because that makes sense, right!?!? Blame the paying customer again for your incompetence!" I emailed my receipt back to her (she was also too lazy to pull it up on her screen), which proved that I DID NOT SCREW UP MY OWN ORDER, as she had accused me of multiple times, and that THE RESTAURANT WAS AT FAULT. I still haven't received a refund or a response... SHOCKER. But, no worries! I'll be putting this review in multiple locations and have already contacted the corporate office. I don't want my $3 back. I want change and accountability. Lousy workers in the SERVICE industry need to learn how to actually provide quality service. I worked in restaurants all thru my college years, and I know what it looks like. Johnny's on Chattahoochee is most definitely NOT it!
My office is right across the street from this horrible place. My co-workers spend hundreds of dollars a month here, but I'll never be back, and I'll encourage them to go elsewhere too. There's much better pizza all around us anyway. The Johnny's location is conveniently located, but the hassles, incompetence, and "customer is always wrong" attitude just aren't acceptable. It really is the absolute worst Johnny's. Do yourself a big favor...
Read moreToday was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. I'm giving two stars because I've been to this location before and I know the service can be significantly better than it was today. My brother, our friend and I came in at 11. I am conscience of the fact that, that is opening time and things need to be prepped and certain orders can take a bit longer but I've never waited longer than 35 minutes for ALL of our food to get to the table.
We were served by Lizz as we normally do when we go and I'll state this now, Lizz had nothing to do with today's horrible experience. She was professional, welcoming, took our orders and got us our drinks in an orderly manner as she always does. For starters our wings did come out within 20 minutes which is normal no problem there. The problem starts with the pizza slices, garlic knots and calzone we ordered. One my brother's two pizza slices (one cheese, one pepperoni) took 35 minutes to come out. Yes I do keep track of time, as we have a tight lunch schedule. My friend's one slice took 45 minutes to come out. (steak and bacon) Never have I ever waited this long and I know for a fact it doesn't normally take this long as it hasn't before. It's been busier and our orders have been bigger before.
Let's jump into the ugly part. My calzone never came out on time, it was as we decided we're getting up to pay that my calzone finally came out but our time was up and I asked Lizz to box it and she did. As we were paying I asked for my calzone and one of Lizz's coworkers gave it away to someone else, boxed and all.
As we waited for another calzone (at this point we are late) I asked about the garlic knots and Lizz informed me that they were left in the oven too long and had to be remade. I told her it was fine and Lizz took it off our bill, which is fine with me. Well I got my calzone and I checked it in the car and well it wasn't the one I ordered but we were already late and I'm not going to yell at someone over something as stupid as a calzone and I'm not a picky eater.
I can tell you if it were someone else, this experience would have made them raise hell. I personally just don't believe in causing scenes and being rude but I will add that it was a very annoying and a slightly irritating experience. I hope that management will read this and improve on it. My brother goes there all the time and even he said it was the worst experience he has ever recieved there.
Let me add that the whole time Lizz kept apologizing and trying to make the situation better, which I appreciated greatly. It's only because of the general good service I have always gotten from any of the waitresses is why I might come back. I know it's a long review but I hope it helps make the ball...
Read moreI have been a patron at the 1465 Chattahoochee Ave NW #Atlanta, GA location for almost a year, because it is close to my place of employment. However, on Monday, October 06, 2014 I took a group of clients from the treatment facility I work at to receive a self-defense class at a neighboring business. One of my clients got emotional, during the class and we sat on the steps of the plaza to speak privately. A stout man with a gray goatee came down the stairs behind us and demanded that we get off of the steps. His voice was cross, harsh, and disrespectful. My client and I advised the man that we would relocate off the steps, he replied (yelling as if we were children) " Gone and get off my steps now! We are getting ready to open, paying customers are coming". I advised him again, that we were getting ready to move. He stared at us, using obscene language, until we moved. My client, being in treatment, stated that she wanted to curse him back out. I advised her to use her coping skills, because there are rude and nasty people in the world ; and you can't just curse everyone out. Being with my client, the entire conversation, I knew she took my advice and was quiet on the situation. The rude man then proceeded to lie to the self-defense trainer, stating that my client cursed him for no reason. I believe it was racially motivated and discrimatory against our group...and It was a blatant lie on my client. I have never been so disrespected to my face by anyone before this. I remained calm, because I love my job, and to show my group of client's the correct way to handle a complete moron. As a result, I will NEVER patronize this business again. Change your management, owner, or whoever that was...and realize that just because we aren't inside of the actual business, doesn't mean we aren't customers. Customer service extends...
