We walked through the spacious interior which had the feel of a converted warehouse, industrial but comfortable. It being a pleasant day, however, we asked to be seated at an outside table. While there is a counter for to-go orders, table service is offered to dine-in patrons. We were given both a regular menu and a brunch menu with special Sunday offerings that looked intriguing, but in the end we opted for a two-meat combo from the regular menu. As they seemed to be known for their brisket, and their story mentions the owners being influenced by Texas barbecue traditions, that was our first choice. In an attempt to add a little healthy balance to our weekend’s food consumption, we chose turkey for the other. Along with a standard potato salad side, we picked brussel sprouts which were a special of the day. Both meats arrived in thick slices and were pretty good-sized portions for a $23 tray. The turkey was nicely done, fairly moist with a good flavored rub on the edges. It did need a dab of mustard sauce for the middle pieces to go down easier, but that was more due to the size of the slice— and I am rarely mad about the chance to taste a good mustard sauce, which this was. The brisket was a little more on the tough and dry side, even after specifying a mix of fatty and lean. It was also a little light on flavor, though it did have a bit of decent bark on it. It wasn’t bad by any means, but in comparison to actual Texas brisket I have tasted recently, it came up short. It is possible it was just undercooked by a few degrees, or maybe just a less than stellar cut to begin with, but again it gave me a good excuse to sample the sauces. Both the regular and the hot sauces added some needed spice. The result was satisfactory, and quickly consumed. Both of our side items were very good, the type you might expect from a fine dining establishment rather than a bbq joint. The brussel sprouts especially were tastefully done and were a perfect accompaniment to the turkey. Bottom line, if I lived in this neighborhood or nearby, I would be a regular customer of this Fox Bros. location for sure. I don’t see myself making a special trip back, at least not with so many other bbq options in the Atlanta metro. Perhaps I will still get a chance to try the original location one day. For now, I am glad to have enjoyed a pleasant stop and to finally have this one crossed off my list.

I never trust a BBQ spot I dnt see smoke coming from. Luckily I pass this place often and I see that. I had tried them before, at catered events. Randomly decided to stop by and I see why there is always a packed parking lot. This location was tried by several businesses for years, leading one to believe it’s the location of the business. However, they proved that myth wrong; simply when your product is good the people will come. I learned it is a family black business which makes it more special, especially in the area which is undergoing such drastic change. For bbq made for the masses this place is always pretty good. Not always smoke coming out but from the original Location I just believe it's something that happens before we all can see lol I went twice within weeks with friends and had same great service, even better at the bar ofcourse. Love how they switch the cocktails up and the frozen one was A1. The bartender to us about her face appetizers and as a lover of soups and chilis I was told about how great the Brunswick stew is and I was won over! It had a nice kick of spice and super filled with meat, after eating that as an appetizer we couldn't finish our entree, but that's fine. I ordered the rib and brisket combo with chili and greens as my sides. I do not eat dairy and without hesitation she realized it came with cheese on top and brought a replacement within minutes. The greens are always great and that's a lot! Additionally, I prefer my brisket to have an even amount of meat and fat, only a few places that asks for your preference and that's appreciated. Another Atlanta staple and you can’t go wrong here! Great job!

I love this location over the one on Dekalb Avenue. This location is spacious and had easy to find parking. There were several areas where large parties over 5 people can sit. We went around 1p on a Sunday and were immediately seated. Our travel system stroller and wheelchair walker wasn't in the way left at the end of the table. The restrooms are big enough to fit a stoller in while changing a baby on the changing table that fold down from the wall. Instead of stalls, the restrooms were single rooms with 3 men/3 ladies. 1 of each didn't have a changing table. This looks like a family friendly place where once we got out of the Works parking garage, it seemed like we were at a park. At the Dekalb location, though it was fun to watch trains go by, we had to wait for someone to leave a parking spot in order to park. The food was plentiful and delicious. I never had chicken fried ribs and decided to give it a try. It was crispy on the outside and tender inside. I wasn't able to finish the last rib, but tried the regular sparerib which was sweeter and not as filling. The seasoned fries were excellent. For the kids, the choice of drink was lemonade. All the employees seemed to be busy and friendly. There is a kid friendly park across the street. In the nearby "foodcourt" were other choices of food/beverages/desserts.

I've tried to visit this location twice (keyword: tried) and had a disappointing experience both times. I love love love your food Fox Bros., have even visited the Battery location, and am looking forward to Brookhaven if that's still happening, but this location just doesn't seem to have it together.

First try: checked their Instagram this past NYE. The post said they were open normal hours (until 11 PM). Made plans for my out of town guest to meet me there. We arrived about 8:45 PM and were told they had "just" closed. Very frustrating being that they went out of their way to make a very timely social media post earlier in the day stating their hours, only for the staff not to honor them. I understand business was slow, Covid, etc., so I try to be understanding. But if you knew there was a chance you'd close early due to the holiday, why post the hours at all? Or better yet, why not delete the post?

Second try: about a month and a half ago, again, an out of towner who had never been to Fox Bros. The hostess was extremely nice. I took a seat at the bar. Unfortunately my friend and I went to two different Fox Bros. (he let Uber take him to whichever one lol). He was about to take another Uber to meet me, but I overheard the bartender say to a group of men "were you guys planning to eat?" Then men replied that they were not, and the bartender said "Oh good because we're pretty much out of everything." Again -- a Friday night, their posted hours were until 11 PM, and I had arrived just after 10. I asked the bartender what he meant by that, and he said they "pretty much only had wings left." ????? I didn't realize Fox Brothers ran out of food?? I know some menu items are "get them while they last," but the majority of the menu?

It was such a turn off. I jumped in my car to meet my friend at the DeKalb location where we were welcomed by a kind server who allowed us to stay past their closing time and actually get something to eat.

It's the inconsistency for me. I've tried this location twice, and sure both were late night occasions, but I didn't realize what a huge inconvenience it would be to try to eat at a place that allegedly serves food until their posted closing hours. Did I miss a disclaimer about this somewhere? I know now not to bother going past dinner time if I have any hope of being served what I have my heart set on at this location. Maybe 3rd time's...
