OVERALL: Stop Reading This and Go! UPDATE: I've been here over a handful of times, tried more menu items, never disappointed in food and service! I've had the pleasure of dining at Little Azio twice now, and each visit has been a delightful experience. From their mouthwatering pizzas to their scrumptious Salmon Risotto, the flavors never disappoint. What sets Little Azio apart is its cozy neighborhood ambiance that instantly makes you feel at home. Despite the hustle and bustle, the restaurant maintains its charm without compromising on speed or quality. Even on a bustling Friday night, there was ample space, giving it an almost hidden gem vibe. The staff at Little Azio deserves a special mention. They are not only quick but also courteous and attentive. From promptly bussing tables to offering to-go boxes, their service goes above and beyond. It's like experiencing the efficiency of a fast-food Chipotle but with the warmth of exceptional customer care. While the booths could use a bit of attention in terms of cleanliness (crumbs seem to have found a home), it's a minor issue that doesn't detract from the overall experience. Little Azio is a true neighborhood treasure, offering delicious food, welcoming ambiance, and top-notch service. It's a solid five-star spot in my book!

I just had the worst experience with the manager Tracy. I bought pesto pasta from this location on Tuesday night. It’s now Thursday, I haven’t eaten or opened the container since Tuesday and to my surprise, I noticed some of the noodles were purple. After I did some research, I found that it could be from bacteria or if the pasta is made with beets. I called to ask if this were case, to be told no. Mind you, I didn’t ask for a refund nor was I upset, but the employee suggested that I come back in for them to remake the dish. I save the pieces that were purple and show the manager, why does this clown tell me that she doesn’t know what I do in my house. Insinuating that I live in filth and caused this. I was shocked. Then to be told that the customer isn’t always right was the final nail in the coffin. I’ve never felt so disrespected and her comments felt very racist. She then had the nerve to tell me she didn’t see any purple pieces. Well you can look for yourself. I left majority of what I found of the purple pasta at the location but luckily, I found the remaining at home. This is really disappointing because this is one of my favorite restaurants but I refuse to spend my money where I'm not respected.

Wife and I came in craving some spaghetti, and I'm glad we did. They have a pretty decent assortment of pastas and pizzas. I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs. Noodles were cooked perfect, the sauce was not overly pureed like alot of local "Italian" restaurants like to serve (where the sauce tastes like its just a puree out of a can, very thick and nasty). This sauce is a good tomato sauce, not too heavily seasoned, and the meatballs were plentiful and tasty. My wife had the spaghetti "rustica" which had Italian sausage and lots of zing, very flavorful and a nice change up from a regular sauce. They also have a small selection of wines It is a counter serve restaurant and they ask you to tip before your receive your meal which makes no sense to me, but staff are all friendly and welcoming. They do bring your food to the table and will bring extra items to you if you want/need. Except for the tip up front I liked the place, probably just order to go next time. Definitely my favorite spaghetti so far in the downtown area.

Update: I recently learned that the employee that we had the terrible experience with (details of our experience below) is no longer working at Little Azio. I am so happy to be able to comfortably return to one of my favorite spots in East Atlanta. Yesterday, I visited for the first time since nearly a year ago and the service and food were perfect.

My husband and I were frequent customers of the Little Azio East Atlanta location since 2013. We would eat there at least 8 times per month and it was our go-to restaurants for lunches with clients, co-workers, church members, and family gatherings. A few months ago we had such a terrible experience with the service (an employee in the back of the house who told us his name is Eric) that we won’t go back again. We dined in and ordered our usual entrees with chicken sausage. We received pork and when we questioned it we were told it was chicken although it didn’t look like the usual chicken sausage. We know the food well as we had been going there for years. We don’t eat pork for religious and health reasons, but because of this restaurant’s mistake we ate some and realized right away that it wasn’t chicken. The waitress insisted it was chicken so we called the cook out to verify and confirmed that if WAS NOT chicken. We understand that everyone makes mistakes. All we wanted was a corrected meal (with chicken sausage, no pork), an apology and some empathy. Instead, they gave us the same plate of food but with chicken sausage on top of the pork (instead of giving us a new meal) and no apology. Then when we told them the dish still had pork in it (all they did was cover it with chicken), we got nothing bad attitudes from everyone except for one young man who was trying to help but was very new and couldn’t do much but offer a refund. The young man needed assistance processing the refund so “Eric” helped him. My husband talked to Eric about what happened and Eric was so rude to us about the entire situation. He told us that we were holding up the line, that it’s just pork and not a big deal, that he feels terrible (he was being facetious), that we should go ahead and sue the restaurant because he doesn’t own it so he doesn’t care, and that we can take our refund and leave. Then he proceeded to tell everyone else in line that they were going to shut down and not give out anymore food (again being facetious). We asked for the manager’s number. The young man that was the most helpful, gave us the owner’s number. Then, we received our refund and left. We haven’t been back since. I called the owner (Nick) the next day. He was apologetic and said that he would talk to the employees at that location. He sent us a $25 gift card in the mail. We haven’t used it and don’t intend to. We will not step foot into Azio to recommend if to our colleagues, clients, co-workers, family, or friends until we receive confirmation of disciplinary action against Eric (if that’s his real name) or a sincere...

This was one of my favorite lunch restaurants. Until Monday March 3,2019.I purchased meals for myself and coworkers that came to $96 and with the law enforcement discount was $82.So arriving back to my facility and and as everyone was about to eat the plastic containers gave way.Food leaking or falling out everywhere minus the salad. So the restaurant was immediately called but to no avail no answer until much later. I spoke with Jenna and explained what happened and she stated it shouldn't be a problem to replace and that the manager would be in the morning which be Tuesday. I called and explained to her what happened and she was in disbelief because she stated people abuse the return or try to get over. Spending $82 and not be able to enjoy their great food .I felt that I gave them $82 because their containers sit under heat lamps and it's not possible for the food to overheat I'm just saying they use salad containers for all carryout meals besides pizza. I was offended because as a member of the law enforcement community I pride myself on integrity. So I ask the corporate number and have not heard from her as of yet. So if you are a law enforcement member via Federal Prison,State Corrections,State Patrol, or Capitol Police Don't Patronize them because they don't understand that facilities do not allow cameras into the facility. So no photos are available and most are not thinking to...

165° is the correct internal temperature for chicken! Im a chef i know my stuff. I used to love this place but recently it's been real inconsistent with food. We placed our normal order 1 pizza 2 chicken parm wraps and cesar salads... my wife's chicken parm was edible mine was really under cooked. Not horribly under but it was pretty easy to tell after a couple bites. I quietly walked over to a staff member and let him know the issue and he took it back to the kitchen but after taking my wrap to the back.... he then says the chef was going to cook me "half" a wrap.... and bought other half I didnt bite back to the table. Im sorry?... So the chicken in 1 half the wrap is not cooked so I'm going to eat the other half?! 🤔 . The manager then bring out another piece of cooked chicken for me to cut in to before he (the chef) remakes the wrap... it was cooked, perfect, visibly different from the first one. 10 minutes later here come someone with half a chicken parm and places it on the table.... dude where is the other half of my wrap? I didn't pay for the chef's snack because he didn't want to admit that he cooked the chicken with out checking the internal temperature. Cmon man.... lose a customer over a chicken parm?! The guy that took our order and the guy taking care of the tables are the only reason I still gave 3 stars for service I hope they the ones...
