Nachelle at Laser Away in Buckhead completely saved my experience here at this location just by being professional, a listener, a communicator especially, and a problem solver. For context, I have been extremely disappointed by my experience here due to being treated like a revolving door patient. I bought 4 sessions for 4 tattoos and after asking if I could instead come in and be treated 16x for one tattoo, I was given incorrect information by being told that was possible. Each time I came in for an appointment after that initial incorrect communication, my experience dealing with the front desk staff telling me I only had 2 then 1 session left was confusing and despite attempts at clearing my confusion at each visit, each person I spoke to only confused me more and clearly did not have the skills or patience to solve the problem of me being given an incorrect expectation my first appointment. I don’t know why it was so difficult to communicate to me that I was paying for sessions irrelevant to the number of tattoos I worked on. I would have worked on all four that I paid for simultaneously if my misunderstanding by no fault of mine would have been resolved. That is irrelevant now- I’m writing this because after the awful experience I had being told different things by front desk staff and experiencing a confusing lack of communication- I had an awful opinion of laser away and did not want to come back. After speaking with Nachelle today, I have a much more positive outlook of my treatment here at laser away. And all it took was her taking her time with me, skillfully verbally communicating to make me understand what had happened, bringing in different staff members, and working to create a solution for the time and money I wasted due to laser aways communication failures. Nachelle is very well put together, professional, and friendly. I felt very comfortable with her and as someone who was extremely unhappy with my experience here prior to her solving my problem, I can say that she kept me from going to a different laser clinic. I bought another package w her. I do not want to feel like a revolving door patient that is not worth understanding my treatment or being communicated to. The other front desk staff at this location that I’ve communicated with can take a lesson from Nachelle that friendliness is not enough to create a positive customer experience. Friendliness plus clear communication and problem solving does. It can be so rare in Buckhead to be taken care of to the level that Nachelle executed today- which is why I am writing this review to let laser away know that she saved laser away from losing a...

I don’t know what to do at this point. If anyone knows a good lawyer, please let me know. This has been one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had to deal with.
I bought a few CoolSculpting treatments at LaserAway because I wanted to smooth out my hip dips. When I came for my appointment, I pointed out the specific applicator I wanted to use on my love handles. The nurse said the applicator I chose wasn’t approved by LaserAway for the hip area and that there was only one applicator shape she could use to treat that area. I expressed concerns that the shape she selected would treat near my hip bones, where I don’t hold a lot of fat to begin with, and just make it worse. To her credit, she reached out to higher ups to try to get approval for the applicator I wanted to use, but they wouldn’t budge. We were only able to treat one side at a time because that specific applicator didn’t fully suction and I had to lay on my side to prevent it from falling off. It fell off anyway mid treatment, even though I didn’t move, and the nurse had to put it back on. A few weeks go by and I started to notice a big indent near my hip bone on the side that was treated (right side in pics). I went in to talk to the head nurse. I thought for sure they’d be willing to work with me to fix what they messed up, but no, still wouldn’t let me use the correct applicator. Now the only way for me to fix this is to get a fat graft in the area they treated. So not only am I out the cost of the two CollSculting treatments, one of which I never even got to use, but the fat grafting is going to cost me $2,000. If you’re considering CoolSculting, I really recommend going to another business where they’re more knowledgeable on what they’re doing and don’t have to get corporate approval to use specific applicators. Such a...
Read moreI’m deeply disappointed with my experience at LaserAway in Buckhead. After multiple visits, it’s clear that this location suffers from extremely poor management, lack of accountability, and consistently unprofessional service.
The turnover rate among both front office staff and nurses is alarmingly high, and unfortunately, it shows. Staff members are often untrained, disorganized, and frankly, rude. On more than one occasion, I waited over 45 minutes past my appointment time — once even forgotten entirely while waiting alone in a treatment room. When I brought it to their attention, there was no manager on-site, and the nurse who eventually showed up had no explanation or sense of urgency. She admitted she wasn’t double-booked but simply running behind, and offered no apology or resolution. The attitude was dismissive, and there was zero ownership taken by anyone on staff.
Even worse, the team seems to deflect blame onto each other rather than take responsibility. The overall environment feels negative and chaotic, and it’s obvious that the staff — including the nurses — are unhappy working there. That energy absolutely affects the quality of care and the client experience.
I tried contacting corporate to share my concerns, but was given the runaround and unable to reach anyone from customer service. Based on my experience, it seems that poor service is systemic within the company and not limited to this location.
If you’re considering laser hair removal or similar services, I strongly recommend going elsewhere. SEV is a far better option — their staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The environment is welcoming, and you feel genuinely cared for, which is exactly what you should expect from a service like this.
LaserAway Buckhead needs a serious overhaul in both leadership and training if they hope to earn back the trust of...
