Thank you for your response, though I must admit it reads more as a defense than true accountability. While I understand your soft opening may come with growing pains, professionalism, basic courtesy, and accurate menu knowledge shouldn’t be optional—especially when guests are trusting you with their time, money, and special moments.

Our visit may have been over a month ago, but the disappointment was lasting enough to warrant honest feedback—whether it's day one or day 100 of operations. Your staff’s lack of warmth, the mishandling of a birthday celebration, and the confusion around a basic menu item are not minor oversights—they’re red flags.

Pre-bussing a half full or even a quarter of a drink without checking, then refusing to replace it, isn’t “maintaining a clean environment,” it’s poor service and dismissiveness. And while it’s helpful to know that guests are expected to bring their own birthday treats, that was neither communicated nor offered as a courtesy in any way.

This review reflects my authentic experience, which you’re free to reflect on—or not. I won’t be returning, and I’m not seeking a resolution. I simply hope this serves as a reminder that ambiance means little without intention behind the service.

Best of luck.

Disappointing Service Ruined What Should Have Been a Special Night – May 11, 2025

We were excited to try this new restaurant, especially because the décor is beautiful and the space looked promising for a celebration. Unfortunately, the service was so poor that it completely overshadowed everything else.

We were a small group dining to celebrate a birthday, and despite being the only party in the restaurant (due to a storm), staff made no effort to acknowledge the occasion—not even a simple “happy birthday.” The experience felt cold and dismissive from the start.

When we asked about vegan and vegetarian options, our server didn’t seem knowledgeable at all. She incorrectly stated that corn ribs contained pork, and we had to explain that they were in fact plant-based. That level of confusion over basic menu items was surprising and disappointing.

The most frustrating moment came when my fiancé’s drink was taken off the table before she had even finished it—she had only taken a sip before we stepped away briefly. When we asked about it, the server claimed it was empty and then refused to replace it, even though it clearly wasn’t.

By that point, the lack of care and professionalism had already soured the evening. We decided to cut the night short and leave. We didn’t want to escalate things or argue on what should have been a special, celebratory night.

We won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place for any kind of special occasion—especially if this is how guests are treated when the restaurant is completely empty. I can only imagine how much worse it might be on a busy night.

They could have improved on their service by now but I wouldn’t know because I haven’t been back & don’t plan to return. This is my authentic experience. The food was okay. I really liked the spinach dip,...

Hosted my bday dinner here and was very disappointed based on reading the previous reviews .. I thought I made a good choice. Our server was horrible. It took 52 minutes to get one drink and water to the table. Luckily, a few of my guests purchased their drinks at the bar while waiting for our table, is how we survived the wait. Once the floor manager was engaged that didn't help much, but we did receive our drinks and water. The food came out faster, which it should bc it took an hour for the waitress to even ask for our orders. The food was a mix of good and not. My guests who ordered the spinach dip, crab claws and sliders enjoyed them. The other guests who ordered lemon pepper wings mentioned they have to much salt, the salmon was overcooked and the jerk wings taste simply like BBQ sauce. The drinks are very weak! Everyone at the table had to ask for an additional shot and no one is a heavy drinker. The drinks literally taste like sugar or juice. Additionally, when you reserve they ask if you need separate checks, I selected yes. However, when it was time for payment the table was told for a party of 6 or more they do not split the check. Towards the end of the night a different manager or possibly owner came by and ask our experience - we informed her it was the worst service in history. She tried to make up for it by giving the table free rum shots and the bday girl a free cocktail which was nice. However, at that point part of our bill should of been comp bc she let us know it was actually the waitress first night. Therefore they set her up for failure and our table suffered bc she was still learning. The waitress shouldn't have been handling larger parties or she should of...

We came here for a family members birthday celebration back in May. We were seated in a server section that we believe was fairly new to the job as the service was horrible. when asking the server for vegan and vegetarian options, we asked her about the corn ribs and she said she does not like pork ribs so she wouldn’t recommend. We had to explain to her that the corn was not meat. She barely knew the menu. When finishing my drink, she took my glass before I could finish and when i told her I did not finish she spoke with the dishwasher and came back to me saying that the drink was empty, and that they could not give me another. The service was slow and blah. The birthday girl was never wished a happy birthday nor given a celebratory treat mind you, we were the only people in the establishment due to the weather so there...

The Privacy Room ATL was absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was perfect—chic, intimate, and filled with great vibes. We tried several dishes, and each one was a hit. The snapper was perfectly cooked, the oxtail was rich and tender, and the lamb chops were incredibly flavorful. However, the real standout was the crab claws—they were to die for! A big shoutout to our beautiful and attentive waitress, Dazjah. She took the time to explain everything on the menu and provided us with excellent recommendations. This place truly excelled in food, ambiance, and service. I highly recommend it for a special night out or whenever you want to treat yourself to something unforgettable.
