Tutti Gelati — Restaurant in Atlanta

I purchased a coffee from them and was unfairly booted for parking on their designated spot. No actions or communication was done since then.

I stopped by the Tutti yesterday. I ordered a coffee and the coffee was great! I only had issues with a parking. I went to the close by store and then went into Tutti for a coffee and until I realized it I was put a boot on my car in 2-3 mins I was in the store. As I walked to the car the parking guy kept on putting a boot on my car and refused it take it off because he said “I didn’t park in the right place and didn’t go to the right store”. I had 10-15 mins conversation with a man and he refused to take it off until I paid $75. Even one guy passing by the situation took up for me but parking guy didn’t care. I just want to let you know what a poor mindset people you work with and he was clearly targeting people using his position and not humility. If you are to hire a parking towing company, make it fair at least and don’t rip people...

Black guy here. I’ve known the employee you’re talking about for a while now. Slight side note, but important they’ve genuinely been one of the most helpful and consistent people in my life, and they’re one of my closest friends. We have some pictures together but I think they're sorta camera shy.

I was actually around for most of the interaction you described, and what I saw was someone being patient, helpful, and respectful even when you were pushing it. The only time they told you they were closed was after going out of their way to help you. And then, to top it off, you pulled your phone out and shoved it in their face

Speaking as someone who’s worked in food service it’s exhausting. And when someone’s shift is over, they should be allowed to close and go home without being put on blast for it.

As for your recommendation to avoid the place? I think the food is pretty good (I recommend the wildberry flavor is that what you call it?) Though if I’m being honest, they could switch up the music....

Most recent update: They've done a lot with it! Really pleased with not just the gelato but with the service as well.

Update: I went back to see if the first visit was a fluke. I still found the flavor was underwhelming and the texture was not as smooth as it should be. Still better than most ice cream.

I had the tiramisu and cookies and cream flavors, both of which were decent flavor. I'm not an expert, but it seemed like the texture was not as smooth as what I expect from gelato. Larger ice crystals perhaps? Not a huge issue, but gelato and espresso are basically all that's offered here so it should be as good as it can be. With the alternatives available in Atlanta, I would not rate the quality near the top of my list of...
