So we walked in last night about 30 minutes before close, and I understand I wasn’t going to get world class service, the employees were tired and ready to go home which is fine and completely understandable. The gentleman who dished up our bowl was good, but when we got to the register was when it went down hill. We just stood there for a whole minute just staring at the guy while he was on his phone, I got unsure whether he was the cashier and just waited because I felt like it’d be rude to demand service. Then the girl who was busy closing up the front came and saw our situation and was confused as well until she realized this guy was not paying attention and told him to get off his phone. This girl did not seem like a manager but someone who cared about making sure we got what we needed. The guy dropped his phone and rung us up while saying “ my bad”. We paid for the food and he IMMEDIATELY walked off on his phone and didn’t finish the process. I had to reach across the counter and grab our food, and when we were getting salsa I realized we didn’t get our chips and the same girl saw, and yelled “GUILLERMO, YOU DIDNT GET THEIR CHIPS!” and Guillermo (phone guy) responded, “AYO DONT CALL ME BY MY GOVERNMENT NAME” or something like that and they went off on each other. Another employee did get us our chips, and as slightly funny as that was, it was obvious Guillermo was only covering for the girl while she was putting in the work trying to get people out of there, which is fine but if he’s going to do it he needs to get off his phone at least while customers are literally in front of him. The girl was cool, unfortunately I didn’t get her name. But all this happened just for my boyfriend to throw the food up in the same parking lot 15 minutes later. So...
Read moreI’ve recently had several less than desirable experiences at this location. The first time, I considered it a fluke. However, after the second and third time, it was clear that it was not. A few coworkers and I usually eat there around 12pm during the week. We have never been greeted or even felt that we were welcome. Walking up to the window to order, the man looks at us and waits for us to tell him what we want. We have learned that we have to order quickly and make sure that we tell him everything that we want because he rudely moves on and tosses our order on the grill or to the next person down the line. We understand that this establishment is fast-paced, and we certainly don’t want to hold up the line, but we would appreciate a moment to order our meal exactly how we want it. Today, I ordered a steak quesadilla and I asked for jalapeños and sour cream. The glob sour cream she spooned onto the tray was not a big deal, however I would have rather had the jalapeños inside my quesadilla. Which, I would have told her if she took a second to finish listening to me. I also asked for a small chees dip, she didn’t give me any inclination that she heard me or cared. I moved down the line and paid. The girl in line behind me got my attention while I was at the salsa bar to tell me that the lady had put my cheese dip on her tray. Apparently, they had to get a new ladle- which is no big deal, just let me know you heard me.
I’ve always enjoyed eating here and I LOVE fish taco Friday. But recently, I have really felt unwelcome by some of the very unfriendly staff. There is a definite distinction of how some customers are...
Read moreI stopped by this Willy’s location today and the service was absolutely horrible! As I walked up to give my order, the employee had an AirPod in one ear speaking to someone on the phone. Could barely hear me or the person in front of me giving our orders. As I got the end of the line the female employee had a pretty bad attitude. I asked for queso and her response was “that’s ordered at the front of the line”. Another employee in the moment asked me if I would like pico, sour cream and I said yes. The pico was not placed on my plate, the female employee said “oh you wanted it” to which I responded it’s fine. As I was scooping sauce onto my plate the female employee walked to me and threw the pico bowl on my plate and said “here” and walked away. Another incident occurred where I asked for a cup for water, the female employee huffed and slammed the water cup on the counter. The manager at the location is very sweet though! Hopefully can get a better team.
Update: Very interesting that after I leave a review two more reviews follow within a spam of two hours. Really shouldn’t have your own employees/their friends write a good biased review after to cover your...
