I come here with my daughter pretty regularly. She likes the kids ground beef quesadilla and I usually just get a cheese dip. I've ordered this often enough I know how much my total should be, unfortunately there is one cashier who on multiple occasions, including this one, rings me up for a kids ground beef burrito instead. It's a difference of a dollar. Originally I said nothing and figured it an honest mistake. The past few times however, I've brought it up; as it only occurs with this particular cashier it's begun to feel almost like a scam of some kind. Today I even questioned the total BEFORE swiping to confirm it was the quesadilla (prices are changing often these days, so I didn't want to assume). I was told it was correct, only to then see on the receipt that it was in fact wrong. Moreso, when I've brought this to her attention, both in the past and today, she just tells me that I'm wrong about the price- in full view of two menus stating otherwise. I worked in hospitality/food service for 14 years until my daughter was born, so I'm fully aware that contrary to the popular saying, the customer is not always right. However when they are, it should be remedied without argument. I feel somewhat silly writing a review over singular dollars, but at this point I do think this particular cashier needs to retrain on the menu/pricing and perhaps also her approach to...
ย ย ย Read moreI think probably my last time at Willy's. I have gone there for a few reasons. First off it's closest compared to the Chipotle or comparable "white" Mexican places. Free chips and salsa bar, and greater customization are why a lot of people like Willy's. But the atmosphere and service is just so frustrating. Every time I go there I just expect to be treated like an annoyance, and today was no difference. Worker being super dismissive and obviously hating his job while making me stand there while he makes probably 5-6 plates for a takeout/mobile order. I get that it's not the most fun job in the world, esp when things get busy quickly but it wears on you as a customer when you get second hand depression and have to wait like 5-10 mins before they even start to make it at a place that's a glorified fast food joint and you expect to be in and out in 10 mins or so. For $13-14 for a burrito I'll go to a sit down place, be treated like they actually want me there and spend basically the same amount of time.
Ingredients never look fresh. They just slop em on there, nothing looks appetizing. Salsa bar is a complete mess, everything is gone. Say what you will about chipotle, but at least they have some sense of presentation and it doesn't look like a complete mess and you can tell they actually give a sht about the...
ย ย ย Read moreOn Saturday, September 13th, I visited this location to order nachos. The employee prepared the chips and added the meat. I was planning to request queso on the side instead of shredded cheese, but before I could, she piled shredded cheese on top. When I explained that I didnโt want shredded cheese, she simply removed it from my nachos and placed it back into the shared cheese container used for all customers after it had already touched the chicken and steak on my order. This is a clear case of cross-contamination.
In addition, there was a large delivery box placed directly on the serving line in front of the meats. The employee had to reach over the box to scoop my meat before the cheese incident. A box that has been transported in trucks and likely placed on the floor should never be sitting on a food prep counter where customer meals are prepared.
This location is extremely unsanitary. Because I no longer trusted how the food was being handled, I left and went elsewhere. The staff at this location need proper training in food safety, sanitation, and customer service. Overall, it was a...
