I'd like to start by saying two things:
I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS. Especially bad ones. This in not the first time that the problems I am about to mention have occurred. It happens EVERY time I order.
Today, I ordered through their online system at noon. As always, I get what I assume to be an auto-generated email saying the pizza will be ready in 15 minutes. Here's the thing, I KNOW that's not the case. Every time I order, the pizza is NEVER ready when they say it is. Ive ordered here more than 10 times. Half of the times, I've walked in well after the expected time and the pizza hadn't even been started yet. I've started to build in a 15 minute buffer just to avoid the headache. So I did that today.
Woe is me, I walk in 20 MINUTES after it's SUPPOSED to be done. The person at the register tells me "it's in the oven". Sooo... 40 minutes after I initially ordered, my food is supposedly in the oven... OK. Whatever.
There are 2 people in line that had not yet ordered. I pay attention to what they ordered and when it went in. After that, I walk next door to the liquor store. I returned 15 MINUTES later, because surely, if my pizza was in the oven, it should be done by now. I find the pizzas that were ordered after I arrived being boxed up and handed to the customers. Meanwhile, I see a RAW pizza in the oven that looks eerily similar to what I ordered. NO WAY that's my pizza. So I ask how long until my order is done because we are now coming up to A WHOLE HOUR after I initially placed my order. And I was told 20 minutes ago, it was in the oven.
The employee says, "I said * I thought* it was in the oven but it wasn't". (They did NOT say "thought" but whatever). They now confirm that the RAW pizza I saw was indeed the one that I ordered an hour ago.
Look, I understand these are trying times. If you are short-staffed, I get it. I understand if you are backed up. But its not just today. It's EVERY SINGLE TIME I order. It's happened with management AND ownership in the building. I've had to be refunded twice because of this.
Two recommendations:
Don't send out auto-generated emails with a time that you cannot commit to. This is clearly a problem that others complain about. Pay the extra money for a system where you can adjust the expected time. At least then, people walk in with reasonable expectations.
Don't lie to customers. I can't count the number of times that I've been told "it'll be 5 minutes" or "its on its way out" only to then sit there and watch them make the pizza that I ordered 45 minutes ago.
Again, I NEVER leave reviews... but damn. The ONLY reason that I'm giving it 2 stars is because I actually like the pizza. Literally every other aspect of my experience with this place has...

This restaurant has recently changed slightly with an huge outside tv overlooking the back patio which faces Memorial Drive.Huge flat screen TVs are mounted above a bar area with seats to sit at the bar. This restaurant is in-between a burger spot and a liquor store with a high rise building sitting on top of all 3 businesses. On the patio sits a red couch with a beautiful background on the wall that's guarenteed to get plenty likes if you choose to take a few pictures. The menu offers vegan meals which taste just like the real thing and fresh sandwiches made to the order with reasonable prices. On Friday's a live D.J. spins the digital turntables professionally and you would think you were at a club if you closed your eyes and hooka is offered only on Friday's which you can smoke only on the outside patio. The full bar offers wine , beer , and top shelf liquor as well as bottom shelf and a frozen new daq machine with a choice of two flavors with options of adding a shot of your favorite liquor for a stronger customized taste. Don't be surprised if you come in on a a ESPN game night and see other table games going on while a major sports game is broadcast on several of the flatscreens in and outside of this establishment. Read moreSo, I want to be clear that the food here was delicious and the staff was friendly (friendly enough, at least.) However, the restaurant itself was a mess. Both bathrooms were completely out of paper towels. The Freestyle soda machine only had diet sodas available (and even most of those were listed as 'Unavailable') We brought this to the attention of the staff but were told there was nothing they could do about it (they still charged us full price for the sodas though) The soda machine itself was a sticky mess with different colors of soda all splashed and stuck all over it. Oh, and they had NO ICE. NONE! And we were just told 'Sorry' (again, they still charged full price for luke warm diet soda) There were zero side salads available to purchase with our meals (even though they are advertised as an option for combos.) There were zero 'to-go' boxes prepared. When we asked for a few we were handed the flat white sheets of thin cardboard that we had to 'put together' ourselves. (That's customer service for you.) And there were flies EVERYEHERE! To the point where we were looking around to see if a door was propped open or if there were any open windows. (There were not.) Also, there were boxes and trash all over the restaurant (see attached photos.) This was not a normal Your Pie experience. We are regular customers of the Your Pie in Clemson, SC and have NEVER had a negative experience there. But this Atlanta location is a total mess. But the food was still delicious and the staff, especially the only female working that evening (4/21/22) was pleasant. So still...
