It was a hot day in Atlantic City, so we decided to stop for some ice cream to cool down. When we walked in, it seemed like a woman was training a young man on how to take orders and prepare the ice cream.

I ordered a banana split. The young man was polite, quiet, and did a great job preparing my order. The woman, on the other hand, came across as loud and a bit rude. To be fair, it could have been a cultural difference in communication style rather than intentional rudeness, but it did make the experience a little uncomfortable.

The hospitality here is UNMATCHED. So glad I found this gem of a spot right on the Atlantic City boardwalk. I tried the pistachio ice cream, which was phenomenal. Many times in the past elsewhere, pistachio ice cream tends to be powdery or have some essence aftertaste, but the pistachio here was HITTING. I also had the blueberry cream which was really tasty.
