WOOF! WOOF! Hello everyone! I am Charli, the adorable mini labradoodle who has been a loyal patron of the biergarten since I was just a tiny 8 week old pup.
From the moment I first spotted this oasis located right off the boardwalk I knew I was in for something special. The outdoor seating area is simply pawsome. It's spacious shaded with umbrellas and adorned with benches, tables, and outdoor games for humans. There's always a gentle ocean breeze that keeps my tail wagging. And the fairy lights strung up overhead create a magical ambiance at night.
Now lets talk about the food and all those craft beers and fancy drinks my humans so enjoy. I never met a pup who didn't like the smell of freshly grilled sausages . The texas size hot pretzel and the cheese curds are my favorite. I sneak a few when no one is looking -- don't tell !
But the best part? The staff here is five paws up!! A special bark out for Patty, Thomas, Grace, Maria, Madison,Tim and Michael just to name a few. They treat me like the royalty I am. I get head pats, belly rubs, and a nice cup of fresh cold water ----even the other patrons love dogs as much as I love them.
I can honetsly bark - this outdoor biergarten is my happy place. So if you are a pup or a human looking for a tail-wagging good time, this is the spot to be. WOOF -...
Read moreMy recent visit to The Biergarten in Atlantic City was a truly unforgettable experience, and not in a good way. We ordered a simple plate of wings, but after waiting over 50 minutes, they never even arrived. The wait was agonizing. The female server's attitude was incredibly rude from start to finish. She never once checked on us, and we were completely ignored for the majority of our time there. As if that wasn't enough, she eventually came back, tossed the check onto the table without a word, and walked away. It was the final act of a completely unprofessional and disrespectful encounter. The beer selection was vast, but the staff's knowledge of it was not. I asked for a recommendation and was met with a blank stare and a shrug that seemed to say, "I just work here." The service was so slow that I started to wonder if they were brewing the beer from scratch in the back. Overall, The Biergarten is a place I would only recommend to my worst enemies. It's a monument to missed opportunities, non-existent food, and a complete lack of genuine German hospitality. Save your money and your appetite, and find a place that actually cares about what...
Read moreThis was a BIG ripoff of a place. 2 pretzels and 2 drinks (small plastic cups) of Pepsi, and refills (not free) for $40.80!!! I mean c'mon.. it's Pepsi!! We were not given a menu, so we weren't aware of the price of a pretzel ($13). They weren't even that tasty. The cheese sauce was disgusting. I wouldn't even give that to my pets. `We got our Pepsi's refilled in our small plastic cups for $3.28 each!! Our waitress even said it was stupid and blamed the owner for it, and she said she got it from the bar which she had no control over. We tried leaving this place with our Pepsi's and security stopped us saying we couldn't leave with our drinks. We told him it was Pepsi, and he said "Sorry, you can't leave with those." This was utterly ridiculous. There are other places to go besides this place. Avoid this at all costs.. you will save a lot more for better food! You can get a 3 course meal for what we payed at this horrible establishment. This was our first experience in Atlantic City that was unpleasant. Shame...
