My husband and I had breakfast at this location for the first time. I didn't read the reviews first, which I usually do. We didn't because we have eaten at other Denny's, both in state and out and always enjoyed going there. Well that was a big mistake! Honestly we were lucky, the food we ate was hot and delicious. Cooked perfectly. The service however was the WORST I have ever received. No problems with my husbands order but trying to place my own order was an absolute nightmare. The waitress just couldn't get it through her head that I wanted the country fried steak and eggs. She kept thinking I wanted the country fried special which I could choose 2 sides, the picture shows mashed potatoes and broccoli. Obviously a lunch or dinner offering. I even opened the menu and showed her what I was ordering. Again she's telling me I can order two sides. I pointed out to her on the menu that what I was ordering came with: county fried steak with gravy, two egges, hash browns and toast. She still didn’t understand. This continued for several minutes, she's starting to give a little restained attitude. I pointed again to what I was ordering until finally she says ok, no sides and goes and places the order. The food arrives, she puts the plates down and leaves without saying a word. My husbands is order is right, mine is not. I got two country fried steaks and a long slice of toast, cut diagonally. We call her back and I tell her this is not what I ordered. She says what do you want, I said I want what I ordered. So now she asks, how do I want my eggs. In my head I'm saying, so finally you suddenly know that I want the one with eggs. She never returned to our table. No coffee refills, no more anything from her. So I watched my husband eat until a different person, a waiter, brought me my order. Finally the right food and I was very relieved and happy that is was very good. There were no accents or english language limitations involved so it wasn't that. It was so bad that I actually didn't leave a tip, I just couldn't do it. My husband and I agreed that since his service was ok that he would leave a 10% tip ($2) partially under his plate...
Read moreI don’t even know where to start , one we will start with I’ve worked in a restaurant as a server/bartender for 5 years never have I experienced such a thing. And TRUST ME when I say I know how it can be when it’s busy . Server had no personality or people skills , started with “can I help you” I’m sorry what am I at a drive through? Immediately threw me off and could tell what kind of experience this was going to be . Only thing that came fast was our first round of drinks (just soft drinks nothing special) . Wait was incredibly long for the food (server literally had 5 maybe tables) after about a hour of sitting there with no refill, our server (don’t know her name never introduced herself), proceeded to ask all three of us what we ordered……from literally everything to the sides she had no idea what she was doing. We proceeded to tell her and she still forgot my side of hash browns. Food was gross and completely cold burger looked like it had been chewed and spit back on the grill. Couldn’t be surprised after I sat there and watched my “food die in the window” as a server/ cook would say . After moving the gross food around on the plate we decided to pile it up and wait for the bill which took another 15 minutes (AFTER THE DISHES WERE NICLY PILED ON THE END OF THE TABLE) like come on if that doesn’t say your guest are done I don’t know what does . Overall HORRIBLE experience worst I’ve honestly ever had in my life would’ve been better off at a fast food drive through. Will never return ever ever again there’s absolutely no excuse for the experience...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible customer service, I walked in with my family at 5am to have breakfast (to eat before the fasting started in Ramadan) and there was a group of like 10 people hanging around waiting to pay for their check. I could see in there faces they've been waiting for probably over 20 minutes. As I waited, she deliberately took her time and acted like she didn't know how to cash out a check with the customer she was working with. It took her 10 minutes to cash them out! Meanwhile I ask if we wait to be seated and she says "you're going to have to wait AT LEAST 15 MINUTES" I HAVE TO CLEAN THE TABLES" very rudely. To which I'm fine, I understood, I just asked can we please see some menus while we wait so that the kids can decide and we don't waste time because they will have to start fasting in an hour or so. She's like "I understand but NOT NOW" So we wait 10 minutes for her to finish the first customer and then she starts the 2nd customer, and I'm like the menus are stacked right next to her, why can't she at least give me a few so we can take a look? So then I ask her again, and she's like FINE and rolls her eyes and then deliberately grabs just one for my group of 8 to take a look at, and SLAMS it in the counter for me to grab. My husband then asked for the manager and she says she is the manager! How can she be the manager and take 10 minutes to have someone pay a check!
