I wish i could rate negative stars. We had a coupon for a kids meal. They refused to let us use it. We had another coypon for $1 off a basket combo they refused to let us use it too. We ordered a mountian dew with no ice and a root beer with no ice. They gave us a pepsi with ice and rootbeer with ice. My husband ordered a flame thrower combo with his tomato on the side. They didnt give him his fries. My kids both ordered kids meals hot dogs with only cheese (i paid extra for the cheese) they gave us hot dogs with ketchup mustard and cheese. The fries in the kids meals were cold. Not even luke warm they were flat out cold. I ordered a kids meal hotdog with only chilli and cheese (again i paied extra for this) they gave me a chilli cheese hotdog with ketchup and mustard on it. My fries were super cold too. I had to park and walk in to get everything fixed. Im beyond disgusted. I even had to ask for my receipt. You should ALWAYS give a receipt, especially when someone pays with a credit/debit card. The manager just replaced three of the four fries and re did the drinks and hotdogs. She made excuses about why it happened. Claiming she is working with all trainees. Well OVBIOUSLY you should NEVER schedule a shift of all trainees and a manager. I wasnt the only one whos order was wrong i saw two other people pull over and take their food in because it was wrong. This dairy queen cant ever get orders correct and this is the final straw for my family. We have had issues EVERY TIME we come to Auburn Indiana dairy queen. I never leave reviews, but my experience at this Dairy Queen on 6/3/25 around 7:30 PM was so bad, it needs to be said.
I ordered a chocolate cookie dough Blizzard. When I got to the window, they handed me one made with vanilla ice cream. I don’t go to DQ often, so I assumed “chocolate” meant chocolate soft serve. I apologized for being "difficult" and politely asked if it could be remade with chocolate since I really don’t like vanilla. Instead of handling it professionally, the employee gave me attitude and nasty looks right away. The manager, who clearly heard everything, came over and snapped, “What’s your problem?” She was rude, sarcastic, and clearly annoyed that I was still at the window. I stayed calm, explained I didn’t know how it worked, and apologized again — but she kept talking down to me like I was dumb. She stood there making me feel uncomfortable with her mean remarks until she finally yelled at someone to remake it — which, by the way, took less than a minute. I’ve worked in customer service. I know how tough customers can be. But I was respectful and polite the whole time. There was absolutely no excuse for how I was treated. This wasn’t just a small mistake — it was a complete lack of basic respect. If this is how the manager handles a simple request, it says a lot about the whole place. Read moreBefore I start with my review I want to say that I love the food at dairy queen am never dissatisfied with whatever I get so the food gets a 5/5 from me BUT the service is my problem I've been going here quite a bit lately and every time I go it seems the person taking my order over the speaker is agitated and in a bad mood. That's fine as it might be a misunderstanding or so I thought. today I got a sundae and a blizzard while waiting for them to hand me my food; I heard the workers inside talking poorly about customers in line at the drive through(specifically the woman taking the orders) and today it wasn't just the lady taking the orders I over heard some other workers speaking poorly on the customers orders and speaking harshly about a woman's husband and then about a woman ordering for her child. I went and the woman kinda felt like she was rushing me to grab my food she let go and almost made me drop the food out the window. I love Dairy Queen, and it isn't going to keep me from buying food from here, but I hope that this reaches a higher-up so it can be resolved.
