What a gem in a rough. Only it really does pain me to give this place 4 stars. The following is why i had to knock a star. Knowing that the lunch speical goes untill 3pm, last time husband got there at 3:10pm so we learned our time lesson then, husband and i wanted a treat. Now my husband and i dont often eat out, so we figured we would save a few bucks by getting the lunch speicals each. Only when walking in at only 1:30pm i was honestly floored when i was completely ignored with on my request. When i walked in there where a couple tables of people enjoying their meals. The older waitress walked up to me asking me what i wanted. Truly she was quite rude with the way she hurried at me almost like i didnt belong. Yes i was in sweats but hey a girl gets days off to. I said i wanted 2x the lunch speical chicken teriyakis, she nodded and headed to the registar. We walked to the cash register together where i again said 2x times i wanted the chicken teriyaki lunch speical. Once rang up i paid $33.03 for what i thought was 2 lunch specials. Once back in my car i started talking with husband as we waited, never thought to bring up the price since the food honestly is worth it. After about 10 minutes i went back in to see my food ready n bagged for me and the younger waitress was super freindly and handed off my food. I noticed the bag felt kinda heavy. Once in the car headed home i asked the husband to open it up 1. To see why the weight and 2. To get a great picture to show off before i devored the great food. My husband asked why had i gotten the regular order of teriyaki instead of the special? By the time we had noticed we where pulling into home and really what could we do? I mean i had gotten a full order of chicken and paid for it. Not like i was charged the full and given a speical. I just felt like even though i had made it VERY clear i wanted the speicals i was ignored. So beware of ordering during lunch time to make sure with i dont know language barrier or just simply wanting my extra couple dollars you get what you truly order.

Read moreI went with a group of 5 members for my birthday. The two waitresses gave us plenty of time to look through the menu & answered all of our questions about each Japanese word that we didn't understand. Both of the servers were attending to our table & they were so polite. The whole experience, from the moment that we arrived until we left.... every detail was perfect. The placement of the beautifully folded napkins with the chopsticks tucked inside even made the experience so nice. My son didn't want to mess anything up that was at the table, such as putting his used chopsticks down on the table rather than on the little saucer in front of himself, because he stated he was trying to honor their traditions. We ordered soft shell crab appetizer, miso soups, seaweed salad, gyōza, beef teriyaki bento boxes, vegan tofu yakisoba, Spicy Hawaiian roll, orange chicken, egg rolls, sesame balls, strawberry mochi ice cream & green tea mochi ice cream. Everything was so delicious! This is the second time that...
Read moreThe food did not disappoint. Ordering was difficult because there was zero information on the menu, just the titles of the dishes and the price. I was trying to get information out of the last working but she was not forthcoming. I could not tell if there was a language barrier or perhaps a cultural disconnect. Regardless I did feel rushed and judged throughout the process of ordering. She asked if I wanted forks and I said chopsticks, please. But then I came back in because I couldn't find the chopsticks in the bag, and I asked her if she put the chopsticks in. And she said, forks. I'm like ok, can I have chopsticks please 🙏🏼... When the first bite went in my mouth, I was like, yes! It was all worth it! I did not take pictures of the food, I usually don't when I love the food, usually I think to take photos of bad food. The place is super cute. tiny and busy and...
