I have never had Qdoba before but recently got an offer thanks to T-mobile Tuesdays so decided to try them out for the first time while my boyfriend was eager to try them again after several years. It also doesn't help that there are a lot of locations around us but luckily this location isn't too far from us. As we walked in, I was amazed by how big the space was and I really enjoyed the warm colors presented from the interior designing. The ambiance was a warm and inviting one and when we got closer to the ordering area, we were greeted warmly. We looked to see what we wanted but for the most part the menu is easy to understand and follow. We both got a build your own bowl, I got the citrus lime shrimp while he got the grilled adobo chicken. The employee who assembled our bowl was polite and ensured that we got a good amount of the different ingredients we wanted in our bowl. I am usually hesitant when ordering shrimp from a chain establishment but the shrimp was cooked well and paired well with my bowl. My boyfriend told me that the food was just as good as he remembered and the chicken was delicious. The mango salsa was really good and I'm glad I got to try it out as it is a limited time menu offering. The fountain drink area and utensils station was well managed and stocked. I love that each table had two different Cholula bottles. Overall, a wonderful experience and definitely worth checking out. Their reward program seems great for frequent customers as well! Additionally, they have a dog friendly outdoor patio.

My husband and my daughter and I came in for lunch before our movie at the theater next door. We waited in line and when it was our turn, the guy started making my husband's food, then made my daughter's, and then after I told him what I wanted, he stopped and said he had gotten an online order and had to make it really quick. Um...in the middle of our order? He couldn't wait until after he was done with our order before making another order? My husband and kid's food were already done so we just paid for what they made and that was it. I even told them we were going to order more food but the guy at the register just said, "but we need that order". So you don't need the rest of ours?? Got it. Horrible service. The food tasted good (my husband shared) but was falling apart and very messy. We just won't be coming back. And be prepared to wait and have your order interrupted if you decide to come.

Qdoba is a go to a Mexican restaurant for affordable tasty burritos and their queso is really unbeatable, but the service was less than desirable at this Auburn location . The lady that took my order put about five beans on my burrito and then when I asked for more, she acted like I was taking those out of her paycheck or her back pocket. Both servers just seem angry like they didn’t wanna be there or asking for things on our food was an inconvenience for them. Food tasted great solid environment and experience. Just wish the people making the food didn’t seem like they just got broken up with. Update : 814/2025. All the staff was much more friendly and I think they redeem their selves. Not sure if they end out Percocet or if they fired the grumpy, but it was much better experience going through the line where it didn’t feel like I was asking for things out of their pocket.

I used to go to Qdoba a lot in Nevada. Then we moved, and locations in CA were not close. During that time, they dropped the Tortilla Soup, and that's what I would get. So I just quit going. Then, one day, after we moved to the PNW,we drove by a Qdoba in a local community. We stopped, but still no soup. Oh well. Then I got a text and guess what's back? Yes! The soup! So we went and here's how it went. The location is by a mall and it's a big box. Very open with metal and wood design. A bit of an echo as people ordered or came in and went. It was clean but not very cozy. The service was great! The Team Member was very patient as I recalled how I had missed their food. This time, though, the soup is being offered in a tortilla bowl! I asked her about that. Liquid in a pre fried tortilla? Since I usually eat half of my portion and take the rest home, we put the soup in one to go bowl, the add ons in another and the bowl in third! This sounds silly, I imagine, but there was a bonus! Not having the liquid in the same bowl meant more room for the toppings! I wound up with a delicious small mountain of rice, beans, grilled veggies, queso, corn salsa and Pico de Gallo! I forgot I could have had quacamole for free! I ate the bowl as if it were chips and REALLY enjoyed the meal!! There was enough for 2 more servings and I was a very happy camper! My husband had three soft flour steak tacos and really enjoyed them too.The menu says the soup will only be around for a limited time, so I guess you know...

I’m sure this complaint will just fall on deaf ears.

I ordered a family pack, over $100 worth of food for my family and the restaurant left out the protein, 18oz of steak.

I spoke with someone at the restaurant and asked if their was an extra tray of a food laying around and she admitted that they probably made the mistake on their end at the restaurant and if we got a refund and reorder, they can throw in some additional items for us which I was happy with and appreciated their willingness to make the situation right.

However Door Dash will only refund $20 but I’ve got a whole family meal without the main.

I called the restaurant again and a new lady picked up. I told them I can come and pick up a tray of meat since the restaurant left it out but they said they can’t just give away a tray of meat and I had to go through Door Dash.

I asked to speak with the manager and she said she was the manager and it was not possible to give me the tray of meat and I had to go through Door Dash.

I just don’t get what the complication is. The restaurant was already paid for the items. Why is it so difficult to pick up an item that was left out.

I was honestly speechless for a couple seconds and she said “he hung up” and then she hung up on me.

It’s just disappointing that there seems to be no resemblance of customer service and willingness to make a situation right.

I was on hold with Door Dash for about 30 mins and we decided to order from...
