Truly an outlet experience. It is very apparent that this store does not value quality customer service and the level of customer care pales in comparison to an actual high end retail experience. I thought, despite being an outlet, that the level of service from Coach would be just as their normal retail store. However, I found it more to be like any other run of the mill mall store quality service. I had been waiting for a bag for over three weeks when I finally got the call that the bag had arrived and it would be set aside for me for two days. I immediately drove all the the way out to Auburn to pick it up. The bag was there, however, due to pricing policies they were unable to honor the price it was when I made the original request. In fact, the price had jumped a little over $40 and there was nothing they would do about it. Policies are policies I guess, but some kind of warning or explanation of what was happening when I did order the bag would have been appreciated. Further, I've worked retail before and have also been a client at actual high end stores, there is SOMETHING that can be done 99% of the time to at least help ease feelings of frustration - on both sides. This was not offered in any way, shape, or form. I'm sure they were handing out additional % off coupons the very next day, or may have been able to offer the slightest discount for the inconvenience to at least attempt to ease things - but no. A 'we can't do that' was all that was offered along with blank stares. I'm quite positive I'm done with the brand as a whole as I'd much prefer to pay extra for my bags in the future from a company who better serves...
Read moreYesterday, October 30, 2024, around 5pm, my Grandmother, mom, sister, and I went to the Coach Outlet store, at the Auburn, Wa outlet mall. As soon as I stepped in the security rushed to the front door. An elderly woman employee came up to me asked how I was doing, but then she kept asking me every 2 minutes what I was looking for. THEN as I went around the store, every employee came next to me, literally, standing anround me watching me passive-aggressively, and there were ample other people there. They watched my mom like she was a criminal and looked around her like she was going to steal and my grandmother too. My sister is mixed and they didn’t do it to her. A soman guy employee, when I was looking on the men’s side, even locked the men’s bags next to me. When I walked away from him, he came up to us, and asked what are we looking for. Everybody kept surrounding us and asking what’re we looking for. I looked at the perfumes while leaving and employees came on each side. Another woman was telling me how to spray the perfume and use the strips to spray like I didn’t know how. There was one black woman employee, and she just looked down, like she was saddened by what was occurring. My mother and I just celebrated our birthdays and we wanted new bags. Read moreAll the employees were nice and attentive to me, even though the store appeared busy. Eyzan helped me by picking the purse and accessories, and she was extremely patient with me. She assisted in picking out the sizing of Rowan's satchel bag and swapped out multiple chain straps, along with charms for the visual show. I am short, so many straps that come with the bags are too long, but she informed me that Coach can add additional holes. Overall, she's informative, patient, and detail-oriented. I believe Alexis checked me out; she's such a sweetheart. I requested that my signature wrap be tied to my purse, which Diana stepped in and helped. Diana told me that the scarf appeared too big for the bag but was still willing to try it; it was too bulky. She tried two other wraps on the purse handle. In the end, we swapped for a strawberry print of signature silk. So came in and showed us a different wrapping technique. All the girls have phenomenal customer service skills.
