Been to other Jack Browns before and they are all superb, this one is no different! Came in on opening day and got a burger and some beers. The Mackey burger is delicious, it’s a favorite of mine. Whether you get burgers, fries or something else, make sure to try the JB sauce, it goes with everything and is delicious! They have a great selection of beers that are constantly changing. This one has a smaller cooler of cans than others. * Make sure to join the 100 Notch Club! You log your beers and after 100 different ones you get a shirt (shown in photos). The kitchen closes at 11:30 during the week, and 1:30 on weekends. Super cool place, great addition to Auburn!! Really excited to see it once the walls and ceiling are covered in Dollar Bills & Bras (it’s a thing that people do at Jack Browns). Great atmosphere and killer music selection. Aliah, Sarah and Vic are some of my favorite servers… make sure to talk to them and ask about their beer knowledge - they are so wonderful and friendly!!

Came here during our trip down for the AU men’s basketball game. Although I didn’t provide many stars I highly recommend trying out the burgers here. I normally don’t eat beef unless I have no other choice (which was this case, no Turkey, etc.) but I must say the wagu beef burgers they cook are DELICIOUS! I had a basic wagu cheese burger and it was perfectly fine for my stomach (normally I bloat, or have stomach pain after eating beef). We went twice in the same weekend just so others who traveled down after us could also experience. They’re Sunday special burger (WDE) is pictured and my husband definitely enjoyed it! The reason for the four stars out of five. 1. No options since I guess it’s main focus is just alcohol and beef burgers (also fries/sweet potato fries) 2. Not kid friendly based on the limited menu and of course it’s a bar. 3. Atmosphere was given 3/5 because it’s a bar 🤷🏽‍♀️ Other than that I HIGHLY recommend you go and try a burger!!!

We went on a Thursday night early and our server (assuming management) said she had sent everyone home early because it was slow. Only problem was it was an Auburn at home 🏀 game right before Christmas break. I’m sure service would’ve been better but overall it wasn’t bad considering it started loading up as we sat. Wife had Poncho and highly recommends it. Kids 🍔 is substantial. I had The Shocker which is fresh jalapeño and habanero 🌶️ with shocker sauce. For someone who enjoys hot flavor and not just gut wrenching heat for no reason, this is a superb burger. I put it right up there with the Gus burger at now closed The J Clyde in Birmingham. The 🍔 are made with Wagyu beer and stellar on the soft yeast bun. No 🥬 🍅, just what it says on the menu. Glad I waited for my 🍺 and 💧 to finally arrive before delving into my burger though. They took over the old Cheeburger Cheeburger location if you know the area. We’ll be returning for sure.

My girlfriend and I decided to give “Jack Brown’s Beer and Burger Joint” a try, expecting a burger experience that would make us want to shout from the rooftops. Instead, we found ourselves whispering, “Is this it?”

We each got a burger. The toppings were not all that and the buns were the size of those like the Great Value brand.

Then there was the side of fries that we shared. Remember that scene in Excalibur where only the true king can pull the sword from the stone? Yeah, well, not even King Arthur could have pierced these fries with a fork. I tried, my girlfriend tried, and we both failed. The utensils were bending.

We washed it all down with an Arnold Palmer and I asked for the best beer they had but I’m starting to think she recommended the beer so we’d forget the meal. Spoiler alert: it didn’t work.

The total of the meal was $55. I was expecting a burger worthy of the name (I got the shocker). What we got was more like a lesson in lowered...
