I am coming here to review this because the idea of this restaurant not being successful, because, it’s a tough business and an uncertain economy ——- is not really an option for me. I consider myself a semi-foodie. Although, who isn’t? Is anyone genuinely like. Oh yeh, I like mediocre food. I’m not really interested in good food. But I say ‘foodie’ as in, I have traveled some. I have eaten Michelin star restaurants. I’ve been to Italy. I have eaten hole in the wall, well researched diners on a road trip because I can’t think of a worse horror than wasting the chance for a memorable meal. So I’m telling you this to build a little rapport when I say, this food is good. And I knew it was going to be good when I ate the salad. You know a restaurant has ‘it’ when the dressing is homemade and delicious. First bite, I ordered the red pepper garlic dressing because it sounded the most homemade and unique. I was right. Quite possibly aside from the jalapeño honey mustard at Last Resort in Athens or an aged balsamic I had at a vineyard in Italy, the best I can recall having. I love it. Okay. I got the lasagna. They must use San Marzano tomatoes. It has that acidic bite that is just unmistakable. It is delicious lasagna. I ordered solo without my husband and it was all I could do to save some because I want him to taste it later. Even the breadstick. I was like? Okay it’s a breadstick. Whatever. It was better than a usual breadstick. Crème brûlée cheesecake was creamy and unique. Would order that again too. All in all, I’m just leaving this review so you at least give it a try and give a locally owned restaurant a chance because. I will be back as long as...
Read moreWOW!! What a hidden gem! I’m an Augusta local and I did not know of this place until searching for a place for my son’s bday party per his request of pizza and spaghetti. I called ahead as we anticipated a large crowd, they were more than willing to accommodate, we arrived to a section prepared for us, nice place, clean and welcoming. Cooks are behind counter and you can watch them as they prepare the food. You have to order at the counter, which was a bit inconvenient, especially with the large party we had (25) or so people, with separated orders, plus had to order drinks at the counter so we had to wait a while to quench our thirst. We ordered a variety of dishes, mozzarella logs. Potatoe kegs, were a hit for sure, some pastas, some calzones, Philly cheese steaks, both steak and chicken. As well as some salads, bread. Everything was delicious. Not a single compliant with the food!! We wulll definitely be back! Thank you for having us and for making my sons bday dinner a...
Read moreAmazing each time. *We’ve never been to the restaurant for dine in, we’ve only ordered through Ubereats, but Man oh man. Typically, food ordered to-go or delivery, is going to lose/lack some quality. But, if their dine in is better than to-go, it definitely exceeds 5 ⭐️. All their food is exceptional, so I want to highlight our favorites. Most unexpected ⭐️: Birria Ravioli. I know you’re thinking it’s either love or hate but I promise you it’s love. This order did have a few too many onions, but I would order it every time, even if it was just like tonight. The mix between Mexican & Italian seems odd, but Aroma’s have perfected it in this dish. The lasagna, amazing. Chicken Parm? Perfect. Fettuccine Alfredo? Literally the best I’ve ever had. We live out of town, but come often to visit family and I can guarantee, we will eat here at least once (if not more) whenever we come to visit. If you haven’t been, go. I’d go as far to say it is Augusta’s best Italian...
