Diablo's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Augusta

After my experience today, I think that a suggestion should be made to expedite the "lunch experience" at this location. Usually, service is swift but today I got stuck behind some medical professionals that were clearly there to pick up multiple orders...say like 20+ from the look of the stack of paper orders and credit cards that were stashed in a ziploc bag. I'm sure that there are mostly professionals coming for lunch at this location and are on a time schedule. Well with that being said, I would recommend either having another register for times like this or place a limitation on the amount of orders that can be taken at a given time. The line became stagnate due to this lack of consideration as well as the issue that some of the orders were not prepared right and had to be re-made. My frustration was clear along with others I'm sure. This is a problem that could be solved with a little consideration towards everyone's needs. Maybe try catering if you have that many people with orders at the same time...this is like a fast food entity. You wouldn't go through a drive-through with a million orders during lunch hour! And on the other hand, Diablos should do better with planning and setting some type of policy to prevent this from occurring. Obviously this is something that is allowed, even at the expense of...

My family and i went to this restaurant last night because I was craving for a good burrito. I very much thought as you walk inside a restaurant you suppose to greet your customers but apparently NOT! The young guy who fixed our food was looking at us like "what yall want"? After he put the meat on the burritos he passed my food down to the other server to put my veggies on, she fold it, wrapped it then put on the tray. I thought you suppose to grill the burritos then wrap and store in to go box. However I asked if she can put my food on the grill she said No because it's already been cut in half so I asked for a cup a cheese dip and it wasn't hot! Asked for cups of water and NO ICE! Worker's with bad attitude and served cold food and hot drinks just doesn't sit with me well. We will not be returning to this location at all. Management/Owner I recommend you speak with your staff....

Food was super good for the cost. This location was much larger than the one up on Wheeler. Everything was clean but then this location was pretty new. Nobody asked for a handout like they do further up Walton Way and the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there. If I had a single niggling issue... it's that if you order a quesadilla and have it grilled before asking for chipotle ranch sauce, you're suddenly expected to spend a quarter on a dipping cup of chipotle ranch. This seems very weird and kinda dumb to complain about, but I just want the same squirt that I would get in a burrito on my dumb quesadilla! I mean it costs me the same as the burrito and I'm getting less in the order of rice, lettuce, and other ingredients so why do I spend an extra quarter on my precious chipotle...
