I went to this restaurant for the 1st time, over the weekend for Brunch with a friend. We had a reservation for 1:15. We walked up, there was another couple already and then soon after another group walked up. We stood 15 mins before we were acknowledged, as the waitress stated they didn't have a host that day. Ok understandable. We wait a little longer, after about 30 mins another waitress ask if we have been helped, we tell her no. She then states it will be another 30 mins to be seated, which at this point we were irritated. We explained to her we have been waiting and we have reservations. She goes to get the owner. He comes out upset like someone woke him out of his sleep. No greetings, how can I help you, he just said" it's now a hour wait and brunch is over in a hour " basically telling us to leave. We told him we had a reservation and he said we didn't and wasn't there for our reserved time. I asked how would he know if he never walked by the door? I could describe every waitress and had proof on phone that we were there before the reserved time. I then asked him to run his camera back to prove I wasn't there. He said something rude and walked off. The waitress came back and got us for a table. The table was dirty, 2nd red flag. We order the mimosas flight, and chicken wing with French toast. We waited forever, as they had run out of dishes. The water cups was dirty and disgusting. The mimosas flights when we finally got them had lipstick on glass still!! We sent everything back. When we finally got our food the wings and toast were cold. We finally got the mimosas flight when we were about to leave 😒. The waitress tried to make the experience better but in all honesty, the owner needs a reality check. Will not be returning. Everyone dining looked stressed! The workers looked stressed! And for the owner to handle things in the manner he did, I wouldn't be surprised if this place doesn't last long. Might even close from getting people sick!

I reserved a table by the window but was seated at a table with an obstructed view when there were better tables. I was hoping to get the Chicken and Waffles and my wife to try the Shrimp and Grits, but didn't know that brunch was served a different time, that was on me, I just wished they could have that available for dinner as well. Their tapas menu doesn't have much options. It's a New Orleans kind of vibe. I believe I should have gotten 9 wings, but I got 8. The staff was loud, and it seems you have more staff customers, not a good thing. We were seated by the entrance near the bar, but I find it sad that they were not using the other end of the restaurant, which from the outside looking in was much better seating area then what we were in. When you use your phone to get a menu online from the table, it says they have Mr. Pibb to drink, but when we asked, the waiter said they don't serve that. Might want to update your menu online to match your restaurant menu. Atmosphere is okay, but it does feel kind of cramped space, tables are small and crowed and long tables are nice. Food was good, but I feel that I paid way to much for little food. Tacos were okay as well, but didn't impress my wife to were they were the best. I wish I could have tried the Brunch Menu, I just don't want to have to go to lunch to try it. Here is thought, have your brunch items available for dinner. Might get more customers that way...

Never in my life have I experienced the type of treatment at a restaurant like I did today. I joined a couple of my friends for brunch. One of the ladies food came out with hair on it. She notifies the waitress and asks that her food gets remade. There was no apology , just grabbed the plate and walked off. The lady asked to speak with a manager. The “manager” came over and she explained about the hair in food and another issue with the food she ordered was incorrectly described to her. The manager said she wasn’t informed about the hair in the food and said what she ordered had a description on the menu…it did not. When her second plate came to the table , she started eating and realized there was another piece of hair in her food again. While waiting on the waitress to come back, another lady we were with found hair in her food as well. When the waitress returned the lady mentioned hair in multiple plates and was reasonably disgusted. The waitress replied that there was no need for the attitude fallowed up by the manager telling us the check would be comped and to just leave…again, never an apology. A third lady we were with also asked for ranch…the ranch came out in a container that was placed on a plate , THAT ALSO HAD HAIR ON IT. It looks like pet hair. Absolutely disgusting!!! Never ever will I recommend this place or return!!!!

Disappointing Experience - Limited Menu, Rude Service

I recently dined at the new restaurant downtown, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this establishment was not up to par with the vibrant culinary scene that the area has to offer.

One of the immediate letdowns was the absence of a liquor license, resulting in only mocktails being available. This limitation wouldn't have been an issue if the mocktails were creatively crafted and flavorful, but unfortunately, they were lackluster at best.

Moreover, the lack of a proper menu was perplexing. The tapas-style concept isn't new to downtown, and the absence of a distinct identity made this restaurant seem like just another cookie-cutter addition to the existing options.

What truly marred my experience was the service. The staff's demeanor was consistently rude and condescending. It's disheartening to visit a restaurant and feel judged based on appearances. As someone who appreciates fine dining, I expect to be treated with respect, regardless of my appearance.

For those seeking a refined dining experience, I urge you to explore the excellent establishments nearby. My previous reviews highlight some exceptional spots like Frog Hollow Tavern, Craft and Vine, Cork and Flame, Manuels Bread Cafe, Brinkleys, Edgars above Broad, and more. These establishments are just minutes away and consistently provide outstanding service and delectable cuisine.

In the end, my visit to the new downtown restaurant was disappointing. It's my hope that the management takes these criticisms constructively and works towards creating an experience that truly stands out in the competitive dining landscape of our area.

Edit: I read some of the other reviews on this place to see if others shared my thoughts, but after some closer inspection I found that most of the 5-star reviews are coming from what look like fake accounts (newly created and no previous reviews of other businesses). If you look at other reviews of nearby businesses you'll see reviews submitted by Local Guides who have reviewed countless other establishments.

I'm seeing reviews for Lenox by people claiming that the "food" is amazing, but the only other place they have ever reviewed was a Bojangles — and similar reviews that don't highlight that there is no menu, only wings/sliders/tacos is really perplexing to me. I also want to re-iterate that there is no alcohol.

I urge the owner of this establishment to focus more on getting a menu pushed out and service rather than trying to farm false reviews. The people who appreciate fine dining, and review places can see through the facade. I understand that this place has just opened, so I will return in 3 months to try it again and will update my review then on the experience. This place could be a very nice, upscale, cultural hub if...

So for date night last night Starr and I was going to go to our spot which is Soy Noodle, but i wanted to try something different. So i decided to walk to Lenox on 10th and see if we could give it a try.

The set the environment, first off it wasn’t packed but it was steady. We got there around 8 last night. We walked in and was instantly greeted and seated. Our sever was Keesh, but my tables was touched by 3 different people on multiple occasions. The menu is pretty simple, with a tapas style menu with “Atlanta” vibes. First impressing we off to a great start

Drinks:

Starr ordered the Dirty Bird and i ordered the Big Payback. Our drinks were very strong! Who complains about too much liquor. I had to get the juice mix to go with mine. So for me my drink actually stretched into two! Starr drink was strong as well. They were willing to tweak it on the spot but we was good! Drinks 10/10

Food:

We ordered 4 items of the menu. Jerk Egg Rolls Firecracker Salmon Tacos Surf N Turf Tacos Cornbread Crabcakes

Not exaggerating but they were all 10/10 for me. I’m very picky with food. Being in the Food and Beverage Industry for 15+ years i do have high expectations when it comes to food. The food taste fresh. I can tell the food didn’t sit in the window, plate presentation was dope. They weren’t lazy on any plates we received. The portions was very good. Overall taste was great

The Jerk Egg Rolls had a little kick to them and came with a great sauce to dip them in. Moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Definitely wanted more after eating Jerk Egg Rolls10/10 Surf N Turf Tacos were good! They were a nice size and filled with steak and topped with shrimp. Came with sour cream and lime. I believe cheese was grill to the tortilla. Streak and shrimp well season and full of flavor. Surf N Turf Tacos 9/10 Cornbread Crabcakes came two per order. A very nice size with a lil kick. They came drizzled with a sauce that was just enough to enjoy with the crab cake. Very delicious and you can taste the ingredients in every bite Cornbread Crabcakes 10/10 FIRECRACKER SALMON TACOS was saved for last! They came with a coleslaw and a cheese , plated with sour cream and lime. The salmon was moist and seasoned to perfection. I should have ordered two of them. I can’t remember all the ingredients in it so I’m going to go try them again. Firecracker Salmon Tacos 20/10

Overall my experience was great. The owners sat outside and greeted and spoke to everyone who entered and left. The staff is dope and very helpful to each other. I observed other tables and everyone was getting the same great service and the plates were looking uniformed. Definitely going to be a regular spot...

My wife, daughter, and I wanted to try Lenox on 10th for a bunch. We did (04/27) and left with mixed emotions about the restaurant. We made reservations through the website and arrived at the time scheduled. I gave the receptionist my name and explained that we had a reservation. She wasn’t aware of a reservation and looked puzzled. It was an issue with her, and she escorted us in and asked us where we would like to be seated. We chose a window table. The only issue for us was that we would have left earlier. Our server arrived, identified herself, and offered to bring us water, which we thanked her for. After bringing the water, she asked if we wanted to order drinks, and we agreed. My daughter ordered the “Bottomless Mimosa.”Our server said she had to check on availability. She returned and stated that they had no mimosa glasses, so it was not available. I have a later comment on this. We made other selections. We placed our orders. My wife had the Chicken and Waffles, daughter had the 2 Advil and Egg Burger (no onions), and I had Crab Cakes and Grits. I asked our server what type of grits (stone grits, yellow grits, cheesy grits), she stated that they were just grit and we can add cheese to it. My daughter’s food came out first with the onions which she asked specifically not to be placed on her burger. My wife and mine arrived “23 minutes” after my daughter’s food. Most efficient restaurants attempt to bring a table’s food out as closely as possible so everyone can eat together. This was a big minus to me. Note* On the “bottomless mimosas,” we noticed during our waiting for drinks and our food, patrons were being served “mimosas.” What gives! On the food, we all agreed the food was a solid 5. We did not deduct because of the onions. I will note that my wife’s Chicken and Waffle came with “Two Wings.” We have had chicken and waffles a lot in many cities and this was a first. So to wrap it up:

The food definitely a plus.

Background music a plus

Atmosphere - minus (flies were an issue)

Server - Extremely friendly, polite, and courteous. However, attentiveness to our table was lacking. At the end of our meal, after paying for the meal, she was to bring my receipt. I had to ask another server to bring me the receipt after waiting a lengthy amount of time.

This was our first time and my experience at Lenox...
